Hier fehlte es uns an nichts!

Sicher, es war schon ein etwas merkwürdiges Gefühl, als wir vom Vermieter keine Adresse der Ferienunterkunft bekamen, sondern uns der Parkplatz eines im Ort ansässigen Supermarktes als Treffpunkt genannt wurde (schließlich ist ja heutzutage kaum mehr jemand ohne Navigationsgerät unterwegs...). Laurie begrüßte uns sehr herzlich und wir folgten seinem Wagen- Kilometer um Kilometer weiter bergauf, weiter weg von der Hektik des Alltags. Nach jeder Kurve fragte ich mich, wann wir wohl endlich zu einer Abzweigung, die uns zum Haus führen würde, gelangten. Endlich verließen wir die geteerte Straße und fuhren einen Schotterweg hinauf. Und da lag es vor uns- eine wirklich traumhafte Ferienunterkunft- inmitten von nichts als von Wiesen und Wäldern. (Keines unserer Navi's hätte übrigens den Weg gefunden)!
Laurie zeigte uns die Wohnungen (wir hatten das gesamte Haus für 7 Erwachsene und 1 Kind gemietet) und übergab uns die Schlüssel. Erst, nachdem wir unsere Zufriedenheit über die Unterkunft geäußert hatten, verlies er uns, um andere Gäste zu treffen. Aufgrund der Eile, verabredete er sich für den nächsten Tag mit uns, um uns dann in aller Ruhe und Ausführlichkeit mit dem Haus und der Umgebung bekannt zu machen. Mittlerweile hatten wir uns schon etwas eingelebt und festgestellt, dass es in keiner der Wohnungen an irgendetwas fehlte! Keiner von uns hatte je zuvor eine so gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung kennengelernt. Und Laurie war zudem stets bemüht alle unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen und hat sich wirklich rührend um uns gekümmert. Sicher war es für uns besonders schön, dass wir das komplette Haus gemietet hatten- es würde aber sicher auch nicht stören, wenn man das Haus zur gleichen Zeit zusammen mit Fremden mieten würde.
Wer also auf der Suche nach einer komplett ausgestatteten, sehr sauberen Wohnung in herrlich ruhiger Umgebung inmitten traumhafter Natur ist und in Kauf nimmt, dass der nächste Bäcker nicht zu Fuß zu erreichen ist, ist hier wirklich supergut aufgehoben!
Unsere Gruppe wird - nach Aussage von Laurie- als erste Motorradclique in die Analen des Hauses eingehen und seinen Nachmietern eine Feuerstelle für wunderbare Lagerfeuerromantik unter'm Sternenhimmel und unsere besten Empfehlungen für dieses mit Leidenschaft und Liebe für's Detail ausgestattete Ferienhaus hinterlassen!

Owner's Response: This is a brilliant review so I thought I would translate it into English:
"No stone left unturned!
It was strange that the landlord gave us no address of the vacation lodging, but rather the parking lot of a supermarket as a meeting place (an address identified via Sat Nav). Laurie welcomed us very sincerely and we followed him in his car, kilometer after kilometer, further uphill, further away from the hectic pace of the everyday life. After every curve, I asked myself when would we arrive at the lane that would lead us to the house. Finally we left the main road and went along a dirt track. And there it lay before us, a really dreamlike stone farm-house, surrounded by nothing but meadows and forests. (Sat Nav could NEVER have found it)! Laurie showed us around (we had rented the entire house for 7 adults and 1 child) and delivered the keys to us. First, after we had expressed our delight over the lodging, Laurie had to leave us to greet guests elsewhere. And, to avoid hurrying with us, he arranged an appointment for the next day with us in order to explain everything about the house and its environment calmly and comprehensively. In this period, we settled in and checked that we had everything! None of us had ever seen such a well-equipped holiday house ever before. And Laurie continued to satisfy our slightest whims – nothing was ever too much trouble. We were so impressed by his care and attention to every detail. Certainly, it was particularly beautiful to have the whole house to ourselves than to have had strangers next door to us. So, if you desire a completely equipped, very clean dwelling in lovely quiet environment in the middle of dreamlike nature and understand that the nearest baker cannot be reached on foot, then, this is the place for you! Laurie told us that we were the 1st motorcycle group that had ever stayed here and that we should leave the outside stone open-fire that we had built to enjoy romantic evenings under the stars for the next guests to also enjoy. This is a vacation house equipped with passion and love in its detail! We and all our friends loved staying in this amazing place! "
Vista Del Mondo with pool is divided into 2, each side totally independent, with its own staircase and entrance. However, while there are acres of garden and you are on your own private mountain, some guests enjoy the ultimate luxury of having it all to themselves. Naturally, we offer a discounted rate to rent the whole house.
