Where we are:
This is a large organic farm (about 50 acres), with olive groves, pastures and woodland. It enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding hills and country side, and of the tiny church of Santa Pudenziana (1000 d.c.) and of the Castle of Albornoz. It is near Narni (of Narnia fame), a medieval town overlooking the gorges of the river Nera.
The accommodation:
Accommodation is in two self-catering apartments (La Casa di Mariu and La Torre). The amenities within the farm include: a swimming pool situated in a scenic location among olive trees; possibility of horse riding lessons (by qualified instructors), walks in the woods and adjoining country side; use of mountain bikes. The apartments are all self-catering and there are agreements with several typical nearby restaurants for special rates. Arrangements can be made for typical food to be provided at the farm by the owner. The farm also sells its own organic extra-virgin olive oil and other produces.
