Midway between Rome and Florence, 30km from Perugia and 14 km from Tuscany, Panicale is a medieval village, dating back to approximately 1000 AD, on the top of a hill at about 450m above sea level.
From this vantage point, the view of the surrounding countryside is breathtaking: Trasimeno Lake and its valley on one side and the hills on the other side.
Even if so small (500 people live there) it includes some important artistic beauties and hosts some important festivals and events.
