Traditional Italian Farmhouse Private Use Pool. The pool is not shared with anyone but the discreet landlord. Bedroom apartment near Piegaro with private pool. Situated on Umbria/Tuscany border, near Lake Trasimeno with its beaches, water sports and boat trips to its picturesque islands just a few miles away from entering Tuscanian valleys. You will relax amongst olive groves and vineyards with spectacular views. The house is built into the hillside and has been converted to offer an apartment on ground level. Only 10 mins from the Città della Pieve and Tavernelle of Perugia for quick and easy reach of Chiusi, Perugia, Siena, Cortona, Orvieto etc. Comfortably furnished and with beautiful views. Surrounding villages and towns boast plenty of architectural delights including museums and galleries, restaurants, shops and bars. Rome and Florence 1¼ hour away. Assisi is 45 minutes away by car.

Notes: Outside: Private use pool. You can use the outside furniture, gazebo, swing chair around the 10m x 4m pool which also has Roman steps to get into it. Barbecue is available as well as floating bed (lilo) for the pool. Golf: Lamborghini Golf course is 20 minutes drive and Perugia Golf course is 30 minutes drive. Skiing: Mount Amiata ski resorts are one hour away. Special interest holidays: Italian private lessons are available 1 hour 30 euros. Also you can rent the landlord Fiat Punto car at 25 euros a day and this includes being picked up from Chiusi-Chianciano station or Perugia if necessary.

Ski: Monte Amiata ski resorts are only one hour drive away

Golf: Exclusive Perugia Golf club is 20 minutes away and Lamborghini Golf club is 25 minutes away

Other Activities: You can play tennis at the nearby tennis courts 10 minutes car drive

A quiet, idyllic property which would suit those wishing to get away from it all.
Amenities were good and the property was in good order, very clean and comfortable.
The owner was the perfect host and was extremely helpful to answer any questions asked.
The situation was perfect for what we wanted - far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet but near enough to restaurants, railway station, road links and places of interest.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little bit of paradise and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone thinking of going.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Things we'll remember about Greppo Cornio: the warm welcome, Rienies wonderful diner, fireflies, the sound of crickets, Andreas BBQ, Shrek2, the colours of the Lago Trasimeno at sun dawn, those bedroom is so comfortable and cool!, breakfast in Tavernelle, coming back to the view, peace and stars, Rienie and Andrea, it was wonderful! Mr Sissing.
Helaas al weer terug, maar heerlijk genoten! In eerste instantie hadden we 1 week geboekt, maar aangezien de week erna nog vrij was en het ons zo goed beviel, hadden we vrij snel besloten om een week bij te boeken. Andrea en Rinie zijn hele aardige en gastvrije personen. Appartement is echt goed. Luxe, groot en vooral koel, zeker gezien de hete dagen in de periode dat wij er waren. En anders was er nog wel het nieuwe zwembad wat een genot was om in af te koelen. Omgeving van Umbrië is zeer mooi en eigenlijk zijn 2 weken veel te kort om alle steden + bezienswaardigheden te zien.
