The house, built as a hunting lodge, is situated on the slopes of a hill facing Città del Pieve, sunny but shaded by trees. There is a big garden, private car park, covered veranda, private pool 5x8, sheltered barbecue,garden furniture, hammock,a bowling green, gym-trail in the forest. Inside all comforts: heating, linen every week, mosquito nets, pool table etc.From the private car park you reach the entrance and the hall, the door on the right leads to the kitchen equipped with a fireplace, refrigerator with separate freezer, dish-washing , oven, microwave,iron, minipeem etc; on the left there is a double bedroom a small corridor to bath with shower and billiard room with two beds-sofa. From the hall you enter the sitting room with the huge fireplace, TV-SAT,micro HI-FI, keyboard, dining table; the room has access to a covered veranda with an outside dining area and sitting area; to the right of the sitting room there are two bathrooms and two double bedrooms facing the garden.

Turn right at the sign Piegaro-Tavernelle and continue for 2,8km; you go past a ‘crossroad’ and ‘a dangerous left hand bend’ sign. 5- Immediately after the bend left left onto a white road signposted ‘MIRALAGHI’ 6- Continue for 4km. Go through the gate guarded by two stone eagles. The road leads you first to the Miralaghi. Welcome! Mausi receives the guests at Miralaghi: tel. +39 348 3701085 You are kindly requested to call the day before and tell her your time of arrival. Please call in cases of delay. After 7,30 pm Mausi may not be there to meet you.

  • RATES INCLUDE: bed, bathroom and kitchen linens and tablecloths, swimming-pool, gym-trail,bocce field, ping-pong-tennis table, table football, mountains bikes and fishing rods available upon receipt of a security deposit, firewood, garden furniture and BBQ, electricity and water consumption, the baby cot for the baby, baby-chair, and children play-garden.
    The baby cot and the extra bed for a kid under 10 year old.

    RATES DO NOT INCLUDE: cleaning at check-out (100€), beach towel 4€ per week, heating gas use (3,50€ per cubic/meter); a security deposit of 400 € which will be refunded at check-out time; small pets allowed at 20 € per week. Extra and luxury basket (45-75€).
  • WEEKLY RATES: apply from Saturday to Saturday (on request the day can be changed). Please, plan to arrive between 4 and 7 p.m. and to depart before 11 am.
    MEALS: agreement with a local restaurants.
  • For the reservations before the 31 Jan 2010 for the low and mid seasoon we offer a reduction of the 10%.

Courses: During the good season an astrophisic intervenes to illustrate our sky at night. Every week when the owner is in will give to the guests a lesson and a tasting of the virgin oil (sommelier also of oil). Italian language courses ( min.12 people). Italian basic cooking recipes

Nature: Mountains, Hills, woodlands, lakes, plains, Mediterranean vegetation, olives trees and vines, local fauna and many species of wild animals like: foxes, roe deer, hedgehogs, porcupines, wild boars, hares, squirrels, buzzards, hawks, barn owls, Robin, jay, hoopoe, green-peak are usual visitors to know and recognise walking or riding along 20km of nice trails inside the estate or from the bird-watching; fish in our fishing-pond or take a pic-nic in the small romantique lake outside Lakes: Trasimeno lake, Chiusi lake, Montepulciano lake.

CULTURE: masterpieces to admire: Città della Pieve, Panicale ( Perugino’s paintings), the Etruscan museum in Chiusi, Montepulciano (wine cellars), San Casciano dei Bagni (thermal baths), Perugia (michelangelo fountain), the museum of Cortona, the Isola Polvese on Trasimeno lake, the prehistoric caves in Cetona. A truly fantastic break

We too were a party of 7 people- only we were all 18 and chose Miralaghi as a rest and relaxation week in a month of travelling around Europe- which was sorely needed! It served all of us perfectly- Maria and Ali were excellent hosts- they really made our stay that much more special. The pool was cleaned daily and was always welcoming as an escape from the heat, the accommodation served us very well and eating all of our meals on the veranda was just perfect. Supper, sunset and good wine- need I say more? I strongly recommend an evening stroll to the hill-top where you can see a huge distance. The fishing was fun, although we didn’t catch much, and we all enjoyed hosting pool tournaments with the stunning pool table.
I can honestly say that our week in this gorgeous Italian villa was my best, thanks in no small part to Maria and her two boys’ hospitality. Something we’ll all take away with us is sitting up till sunrise talking of the deeper questions in life with our legs dipping in the pool with an undisturbed sky filled with more stars than any of us had ever seen.
Very highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time. Our party consisted of 8 & we all enjoyed our stay here. It is difficult to describe what is liked most. Let's try. The house is spacious but also cosy. The terrace is a fantastic place to sit, relax, and most important to enjoy the meal and the company of our beloved ones. The swimming pool is a meeting point from early in the morning to late at night.the kitchen is well equipped with a lot of utensils, etc. Especially in the evening there is tranquillity, there are the stars , the birds. in the morning we walked in the area but we also did fishing. the boys caught a lot of river gambers and (?)fish at the small lake nearby. We visited the small villages as Paciano, Panicale, Città della Pieve,etc. but also Arezzo, Assisi, Pienza, Perugia and near a trip to Island Maggiore.Signora Maria Luisa was a wonderful host, well style and fulfilled her promises. we thank her very much. We were very happy here!!
