Villa Collecimino is a spacious, self-catering, detached property with swimming pool, located in 3.5 acres of orchards, olive groves and agricultural land on top of a hill 550 metres above sea-level, with stunning panoramic views of the Appennine mountains on one side and the Adriatic sea on the other. Every room has a terrace where you can dine, sunbathe or just enjoy the beautiful views of Abruzzo. It is just 40 minutes from Pescara airport, 30 minutes from the beaches and 40 minutes from the mountains. The villa consists of three separate self contained apartments each with their own private entrance. The apartments can also be rented together (at a discount) - ideal for a holiday with extended family or with groups of friends. Please see our own website for more details. Guests are welcome to make use of the gardens and grounds surrounding the property. There are proper roads all the way from the airport to Villa Collecimino - no dirt tracks to negotiate!

This apartment occupies the whole of the ground floor of the villa and is completely self-contained with its own private entrance. It has 1 double bedroom with terrace, 1 twin bedroom with terrace, 1 bathroom with WC, 1 shower room with W , kitchen, dining room, reception room, sleeping 4 persons. Cot and high chair available if required. There are patios/terraces on all sides of the apartment with access from all the bedrooms, lounge and kitchen, with views of the Gran Sasso and Maiella mountain ranges and/or the Adriatic Sea. Guests are also welcome to make use of the grounds surrounding the property and the outdoor Scandinavian plunge pool.

Villa Collecimino

Ideal for rest and relaxation, Villa Collecimino is located in 3.5 acres of orchards, olive groves and agricultural land. It is situated 550 metres above sea-level in a small hamlet which has a bar, small supermarket and regular visits from a mobile baker, butcher, and fishmonger. There is a large supermarket and a range of shops just a 10 minute drive away in Cesi. 15 minute drive from the historic medieval towns of Penne and Castiglione MR. There are many wonderful places to eat locally - 5 minutes' walk from an 'agriturismo' offering delicious meals from home-grown produce, and a short drive from many other restaurants as well as the best seafood restaurant we have ever visited. Attractions and Excursions

The Gran Sasso and Majella National Parks are just a short drive away. You can enjoy majestic mountain scenery with a wide variety of flora and fauna, and, if you are lucky, you may spot a wild bear, wolf or chamois. On the edge of the National Park is Castelli, a beautiful medieval town nestled in the mountains, renowned for its hand-painted ceramics. (There are many interesting medieval hilltop towns and villages in the area.) In the other direction, just 30-40 minutes from our villa, are the pine-fringed, clean sandy beaches of the Adriatic, that stretch for more than 15 miles. Other attractions include golf, winter sports, and, if you feel the need for some pampering, you could try one of Abruzzo’s thermal spas - the waters in this area are renowned for their healing and detoxifying properties.
