Medieval city of Oria: charming apartments in the historical heart
The apartments, all equipped for self catering, are in the heart of the medieval town of Oria (Brindisi), between the province of Brindisi and Taranto, along the ancient Appian Way. The apartments, all in the ray of 150 meters of the magnificent Piazza Manfredi, has been completely renewed keeping the original architecture of Apulian houses. Oria is a medieval town, with a wonderful castle of Frederick II of Swabia, a pretty historical centre and a Jewish ghetto. It can be the logistic base for many one-day excursions to Lecce, Otranto, Alberobello (the city of 'Truly', typical cone roof), Ostuni (the white city), Taranto, Castellana caves., Polignano a Mare, Matera. etc. The crystal Jonian Sea is 20km far while Adriatic Sea is at 35km.

We had a most wonderful week here just after Easter, the weather was warm, the apartment clean and comfortable and the hospitality second to none. Oria is a wonderful medieval town with charm and character. I cannot recommend this property high enough.
