A charming sea view apartment with independent entrance, located in the historical centre of one of the most beautiful Apulian towns, Polignano a Mare. The apartment, overlooking one of the most famous sea view terraces of Polignano a mare, Calaporto, has an independent entrance and three floors: on the ground floor there is the living room with fireplace, the kitchen with dishwasher and bathroom; on the first floor there is a double bedroom with sea view balcony and bathroom with shower; on the second floor there is another double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Finally the terrace has elegant garden furniture for unforgettable sun baths and romantic dinners. The house is furnished in every detail with culture, design and taste. Due to the steep stairs, this apartment is not suitable for handicapped persons and for family with very small children. Independent heating system.

Polignano a Mare (population 16,000) is a small, though vibrant fishing village surrounded by the lush blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. The skyline is formed by brilliant white square Mediterranean buildings which seem to grow organically out of the rocky limestone cliffs, on which the town is situated . The architecture and sharp contrasts of colours in Polignano a Mare, where restaurants are built into caves, such as La Grotta Palazzesse restaurant in the Palace Cave, give the town a magical, almost surreal quality. The town's winding streets are lined with flowering plants. At night, the streets are illuminated with thousands of lights, which makes the town seem even brighter at night than during the day. Students from Bari and locals from the surrounding area, come to experience the illuminated town of Polignano a Mare on the weekends and enjoy one of many outdoor terraces, osterias or enotecas (wine bars).

Wonderful holiday retreat

This property was excellent-a relaxing getaway spot overlooking the sea. We especially loved our time on the rooftop patio.
Being in the old town area was charming and the locals were very helpful. We were there for a local festival with lots of fun. Gorgeous church bells daily.
The apartment is very comfortable-albeit small-with the added bonus of beautiful art and an excellent sound system throughout. We found this area to be magical indeed..like steeping back into a simpler time.
(Be aware-no internet and keep your car in a secured area.)

We enjoyed very much our stay in Rosellas Dream in Poligniano a Mare. The location of the house was marvelous and we spent our mornings and evenings, before going out for dinner, at the roof terrace. The house was beatiful and clean and with all the amenities that we needed, the kithcen was very small though. The owner was very nice and friendly providing us with material regarding tourist attractions in the area.

Very nice property, situated in heart of the old town area close to restaurants/bars etc.

Property was well appointed, clean and in good order, situated over 4 floors. Beware of steep steps leading to the roof terrace.

Town was a lively place with many events ocurring in and around the numerous squares. These ranged from music festivals to magic shows to general busking.

Stoney beach closeby is very popular. We watched people arriving from 8am at the weekend! There are some great caves to swim out to, just mind the cliff jumpers!

Overall we enjoyed our week here but 2 things are not clear from the description. Immediately (and I mean immediately) outside the property is a busy (but good) restaurant and a popular public view point of the sea. You will experience noise at all hours accordingly. Secondly, car parking is a nightmare, you will not be able to park anywhere near the property and when you do find a space you run the risk of not being allowed to park during the night and getting a ticket, as I did.
