The apartments share a communal barbecue to the side of Sorro's apartment and there is also a portable barbecue if you want to do your own thing. Its worth noting that Sorro has a butcher's shop in Orosei so if your looking for some prime pork chops, he's your man! Sorro's wife Rosaria, has also thoughtfully provided continental quilts for beds, which you may occasionally find useful in early or late season. The nearest beach at Cala Liberotto is 500 metres away and it's only short drive to neighbouring beaches of Cala Ginepro. The nearest restaurants and mini market are also no more than 500 to 600 metres from the property.

15 minutes drive from Orosei and 5 minutes from Fuile Mare is the small laid back resort of Cala Liberotto with a few modest hotels plus a number of restaurants and pizzeria's as well as two rustic beach side cantinas serving ice cream, cold drinks and simple meals. Here again fragrant pinewoods fringe the beautiful, white sand beaches with villas nestling in their shade. There are a few simple shops as well as bicycles for hire, plus tennis courts available at one of the hotels.
1km inland and adjoining Cala Liberotto, the village of Sos Salinos has a well stocked supermarket plus a few other shops including a fish mongers, hair dressing salon and an excellent pizzeria for take away meals. Horse riding is available at nearby Cala Ginepro and for tranquiol day's outing and a little light excersise, a cycle ride to the bider Rosas nature reserve is cetainly worthwhile. Set on an extensive wooded promontory just beyond Cala Ginepro it also boasts some famous beaches that remain virtually deserted even in the high season. Although the reserve can be entred by car access is limited to 50 vehicles per day and tickets can only be perchased from the town hall in Orosei the previous afternoon! Enterance is free on bicycles and and the reserve can also be more daringly reached by crossing a fast flowing stream at the far end of Cala Ginepro's second wide sandy beach.
