Built in traditional style with high beamed ceilings, this attractive apartment built five years ago is set in pretty Mediterranean gardens, in a quiet location on a hill in Pittulongu. The large covered terrace offers uninterrupted romantic views across the bay to Isola Tavolara and Golfo di Olbia. Use of communal pool (June to September) with terrace and good sea views. Local sandy beach 10 minute walk, many more beaches within easy driving distance . Perfect location for exploring the north east coast and the interior of the island. Excellent for both a romantic break for two, or for a family holiday. Ideal summer holiday rental or throughout the year. Olbia is only 10 minutes away, and the airport only 15 minutes away. Situated on the attractive North East Coast. The apartment is a perfect location for exploring the many stunning beaches of the Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo. The nearest beach is just a 10 minute walk, there are 6 more beaches within a 10 minute drive. The sea is crystal clear, and all the beaches have clean white sand. Most have lounger, windsurf and pedalo hire, and beach bars in season. The sea is warm from May to November. The apartment is also well located for exploring the interior of the island, the artist village of San Panteleo, the mountains and the many archeological remains. Olbia is a lively city with many facilities. Nearby is a large swimming pool complex with three olympic size swimming pools, health spa and tennis courts - open all year. Rome is 20 minutes by plane. Ferries from Olbia take you to various major sea ports on mainland Italy. Corsica can be reached by ferry from nearby Golfo Aranci. There is also a water park nearby in Baia Sardinia.

Nearest shop 10 minutes walk: There is a well stocked supermarket at the bottom of the road. Larger supermarkets can be found in Olbia, along with a twice weekly street market. In August there is a lively night market in the main street. The designer shops of the Costa Smeralda are a short drive away.

Golf at Pevero Golf Club: The world renowned Pevero Golf club is only 30 minutes away. The club is one of the most beautiful and exclusive clubs in the world.

Bars and restaurants : Pittulongu has various good quality bars and restaurants, several right on the beach, and within walking distance. Most beaches have bars in season. Close by Olbia has a wide selection of bars, restaraunts and night clubs. The facilities on the nearby Costa Smeralda are world renown.

Lovely apartment with a stunning view

We all had a lovely holiday, one of very few where we didn't want to go home.

The information pack provided in the apartment was very good, we'd never been to Sardinia before so it was great to have other people's opinions on which beaches are good and where to eat. We really liked Cala Sassari, although the road down to it was a bit tricky to navigate!

We both found the bed comfy and it was nice to have a proper double bed rather than two twins pushed together that we normally get in hotels. The washing machine was very useful, especially with a toddler and there was plenty of drying space and clothes pegs provided.

We liked the fact that there were plenty of kitchen utensils (even a garlic crusher!) and the cool box and freezer blocks were very useful - we used them many times, saving us uprooting from the beach each day for lunch which was very handy with a toddler. Our little boy loved playing with the bucket and spade, which was also a nice touch.

Overall the apartment was lovely, exactly as described and the view from the balcony was simply amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return to this apartment in the future.

It really does exceed expectations!!

Agree with other review now we've been!
Perfect for a family of 4, it afforded a great base in a quiet lovely complex. It is very very well equipped and you feel like it's a home-from-home. The owners came and welcomed us as they were staying at the same time and are so helpful and friendly. The files of information on everything from beaches, through shops to excursions; are very welcome and useful.
The exchange rate wasn't great and some meals out were expensive...as they are in England for a family of 4!! but otherwise we enjoyed ourselves!!
We happened to be there for Cavalcada Sarda (late May) so drove to Sassari for this festival, which was great...kids loved it!
We went Dolphin watching, grilled Sea-bass in the well equipped kitchen eaten on the wonderful terrace with beautiful panoramic view, swam at a beach with white sand....one of our best holidays that I will always treasure!!!

Comfortable, chic apartment, great location, ideal for a relaxing break...

We went in late October, the weather was amazing, we had the beaches to ourselves, we felt like millionaires....

We are well travelled but this is one of the most beautiful places we have been - its like having the Caribbean within 2 1/2 hours of our home...

A comfortable, attractive and well stocked apartment, lived up to its description....can we book the same two weeks for next year....

Your photographs and description do not do justice to the apartment, its so much better...the location is perfect for exploring the island. A nice place to relax and put your feet up and soak in the view...

It was refreshing to find the apartment was designed purposely for rental use - there were no owners belongings stashed on the terrace or in cupboards. We really could make this our home for two weeks...
