Amazing apartment located in Castello area (not touristic and very quiet), perfect for those who wish to spend some unforgettable days in this unique city! Ideal for a romantic stay for two, but also and for a family of 4, this apartment offers a great and modern living-room, with a large table in the center and two sofa beds. The double bedded room is large and recently restored, and the kitchen is modern well-equipped! It is on the first floor, and it has big windows, from where abundant natural light enters in the apartment. Also the position is great, a few steps from the nearest Vaporetto stop and 10 minutes only from St. Mark's Square!

Visitors’ Book filled with praises for: ideal position, complete equipment, esp the kitchen, comfy beds, fresh sheets+towels, our helpful directions + friendly efficient service, plus Tamara’s efforts in producing a sparkling clean apartment. Perfect for Art+Architecture Biennale exhibitions + Film Festival. Castello is the true Venice where the few tourists are outnumbered by local residents who still shop at colourful street markets + later transform Via Garibaldi into a fashion parade and gossip festival during evening 'passeggiata'. Near historic Arsenale(+Airport ferry), Naval Museum, Biennale Gardens, S Elena parklands;20 minutes walk along waterfront to St Marks Square. 3 minutes walk to Giardini boat stop - excellent connections to San Marco, Grand Canal, Rialto, carparks and Railway Station. This is our own home so it’s much better equipped than just a ‘rental’ property. Book now. Come and stay with us – we know you’ll adore Venice as we do.

It is clear that this apartment is very well taken care of.I loved it here and I hope to be back some day.

In the living room there are 2 single convertible sofa beds, so the folks sleeping in the living area do not have complete privacy but the living-dining room is large and long so you are tucked well around the corner from the bathroom and the main bedroom. Between booking this apartment & staying there, it had changed ownership. The only complaint I have is that when we booked the apartment the description made a big thing of the fact that the apartment had a computer & free unlimited internet access, when we arrived there was no internet access at all. This was dissapointing as we had hoped to listen to the BBC on-line, but it did not spoil our holiday as the apartment is lovely. The rooms are light & airy, with high ceilings & lots of light coming in through the large windows. The location is great, 2 minutes to the vaparetto stop & you can catch the boats right up the grand canal or anywhere around the city, or a lovely 15 minute walk to San Marco. The area around the apartment is not what you would call grand, but a working area, full of local shops & places to eat. The property was very clean when we arrived & well stocked with cleaning equipment. Everything in the apartment worked & the kitchen was very well fitted out with lots of appliances. The furniture looked quite new & well cared for.
There are two little supermarkets on the Via Garribaldi where you can get all your necessities, also veg stalls (one floating) butchers, bakers etc if you feel like cooking. The two restaurants on the same street as the apartment are very good, great pizza etc. I would recommend this apartment to couples. Don't expect luxury, not at this price, but a very comfortable, well cared for apartment in a very ineresting area of Venice. As the city is small you can be anywhere very quickly by boat, book a Venicecard online before you go & pick it up at the airport. Book this apartment & enjoy Venice as much as I do.

I was very impressed with the apartment - all was exactly as described... a few minutes walk to the water bus stop was accurate, the laptop was handy and the kitchen was fully equipped as promised - right down to two blenders, a teapot and too many pans to choose from! It actually appeared more spacious in real life than the photos, and was really clean and tidy.

The nearby Via Garibaldi had loads of great little food shops....and we were certainly in the minority as tourists. The choice of quality food and wine was foodie heaven...and so reasonably priced! I loved the area, it had loads of character and was a short boat ride or walk to St Marks.

For the price it was much better than a hotel, with loads of space to relax - I'd defintely book again if I return to Venice.
