Our ground floor apartment is located in a quiet street, an easy 8 minutes walk from either St. Marks square or Rialto, and just a five minute walk from the nearest Vaporetto stop at San Zaccaria. Now with air conditioning and Sky installed, well equipped, with private sunny courtyard, the ideal base from which to explore Venice. San Zaccaria is one of the best serviced vaporetto stops linking directly to the airport, the Lido, Murano, Burano as well as all the usual routes in and around Venice.

The Castello area of Venice is just adjacent to San Marco, with the nearest Vaporetto stop at San Zaccaria, which links directly to the Lido, Murano, Burano and the Grand Canal and is a stop on the water bus link to Marco Polo airport. Castello is a relatively quiet area, well served by local shops and restaurants, and convenient for Rialto as well as St. Marks.

This clean and well kept apartment is in an excellent location and the courtyard garden is a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of sightseeing. Yes it can be a little dusty but if you were hundreds of years old, you would be too and there are brooms and a vacuum if it becomes a problem!

Supermarket, restaurants and cafe all within a couple of minutes walk if you don't want to venture further.

Customer service provided by the owners is fantastic, you couldn't want for more information or better communication and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The pizza restaurant recommended close to Rialto really should be found and is not too difficult with the help of a good map.

Perfect location for getting around, and that courtyard was just great for sitting in at the end of the day with a glass of decent wine bought in a supermarket just 5 minutes away!

The apartment is in a great location in a very pretty part of Venice and, as the adverts points out, is very close to San Marco and the Rialto bridge. We have two children and the rooms were a perfect size. The property was clean and the owners tips on places to see and to eat were excellent. We would recommend for an in-expensive way for a family to visit the most amazing of places.

The apartment was in an excellent location and easy to find but overall we were a bit disappointed. The exterior was covered in scaffolding for construction on an upper floor when we arrived (something we had not been warned about). The apartment was not quite as clean as we would have expected and not nearly as bright or new as the photos indicate.
