The apartments can be used together (the efficiency apartment becomes a pretty and comfortable double-bedded room with bathroom). They are the ideal accommodation for a couple with two children or two couples or friends wishing to be in absolute privacy.
These very comfortable apartments have just been renovated. They are equipped with microwave, Hi-Fi equipment, television, safe box, flat iron and hair dryer; linen is provided.
How to reach the house:
The house is easy to reach from both the Railway Station or the parking of Piazzale Roma, by 'vaporetto', the typical Venetian ferry (number 1, direction San Marco, stopping at Ca'd'Oro) or by water taxi.
Location of the house:
Ca' della Fontanella is situated in a wonderful area for shops and restaurants. St. Mark'Square can be reached on foot in 15 minutes and you are within easy walking distance to Ca'd'Oro, Rialto Bridge and the Fondamenta Nuove on the lagoon, where you can catch the vaporetto to the islands of Murano and Burano.
At Campo di Santa Sofia there is a gondola service (at a very cheap fee) that provides a ferry service across Gran Canal to reach the old famous market of Rialto.
This location is unusual because it is both in the heart of things, yet it is on a quiet and peaceful street.

You can either spend your time on the seaside or visit Venice, the city of art and culture.It is possible to have your breakfast in the small private courtyard. The water bus stop to Lido is at 2 minutes from the apartmtent and the fantastic trip on the Grand Canal lasts 30 minutes.
