'Corte del Dose' is a residential flat furnished in a refined style and ideally located, very close to Salizzada San Lio, just three minutes walking from Rialto Bridge and St. Mark Square. The apartment consists of: a living-room with sofa-bed and a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable double room, a bathroom with a shower. It has a good view over a canal passed by a lot of gondolas. The apartment can accommodate up to four people. In the house there is air conditioned. The apartment is very quiet despite being in a central location. Also, a few yards away from the apartment, there is a large well stocked supermarket, a bakery, a fresh fruit and veg shop, and also one of the best ice cream parlours in Venice. Having all these facilities on the doorstep, particularly the supermarket, is a great advantage for self caterers.

Our apartment is situated in the very hearth of the old town city, just a few steps from Rialto Bridge and St. Mark Square. How to arrive: usually we meet our guests at the Rialto Bridge (if You prefer we can also have a meeting at St. Mark Square) and we bring them to the apartment (just three minutes walking towards up to the Salizzada San Lio). How to get to Rialto Bridge from Piazzale Roma: take the public water bus (we call it 'vaporetto') line 82 or 1 and get off at Rialto (about 12 minutes). How to get to Rialto Bridge from Railway Station: take boat 'vaporetto' line 82 or 1 and get off at Rialto (about 10 minutes). How to get to Rialto Bridge from Airport Marco Polo: take bus Actv or Atvo to Piazzale Roma. From there take boat 'vaporetto' line 82 or 1 and get off at Rialto (about 12 minutes). Otherwise you can take the Alilaguna boat and get off at St. Mark Square.

We were very happy with the apartment and our host Paolo. He gave us very helpful information on the city and local transportation. The apartment was very clean and perfectly located, a few steps from Piazza San Marco and the Ponte Rialto. (Diane B.) The apartment was really perfect. Very authentic for Venice: a house situated at a private typical Venetian court, where a craftsman is still working, seeing the head of Gondola drivers going by our window and hearing their typical sound when they near the corners, in a very quiet area, where u can buy typical Venetian pastery round the corner and have dinner in the same street. The marble floor and the typical Venetian style high quality furniture annex the very stylish bathroom, it was perfect! (Pieter V.) Lieu romantique en plein coeur de Venise, idéal pour les amoureux. Real Venice location.

We were impressed with the communication whilst booking. On arrival we were greeted at the hotel with a drink and personally escorted to the apartment. We were impressed with the standard of accomodation. It was quiet, clean and very atmospheric with the apartment directly adjoining a canal on a gondola route. It was a five minute walk to the quayside, grand canal rialto bridge or the basilica. There was a well stocked supermarket within a two minute walk. We particularly liked its location because when we felt tired it was easy to return to the apartment for a rest and refreshments. All in all it was a real taste of venice. We will definitely book another apartment with Venicehr in future as we can be sure of what to expect when we arrive.

A short stay in Venice to work for an art project

It was a cozy little appartement , neat and quiet on a very good location in the centre of Venice. We could check-in in Hotel Da Bruno where we could left our luggage (we arrived early in the morning).
For 4 people will it be a little small.
Good price for value!

Excellent location & apartment

We had a marvellous long weekend in Venice in February that enchanted us as it had done some 15 or so years ago. The apartment is well located close to both the Rialto and St Marks Square. It was comfortable, clean, warm and well looked after for the four of us and the sound of gondoliers and other water traffic was great to hear. Marco, who met us couldn't have been more helpful offering tips of where to eat, take a coffee etc all of which we tried and found exactly as he had said. On the whole we would recommend this apartment very highly.

Loved it!

Thanks to the wonderful directions provided the place was very easy to find. The apartment itself is better than described. It's fully stocked with everything you could want or need. A market is a short walk away. It is conveniently located between San Marco and the Rialto. The apartment is quiet. Some people might be bothered with the noise from the canal but we found it to be quiet lovely. If you say hello to the gondoliers they'll respond. The neighbors were friendly. I hope I have the opportunity to return to Venice as I would definitely stay here again. It really was more than I imagined it to be.

Very clean and well maintained property. There are restaurants next door and right around the corner. If necessary the water taxi is right at the corner. The apartment was comfortable and provided a wonderful oasis at the end of the day. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. Being on the ground floor was an added bonus!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
