A lovely 1 bedroom apartment with a quiet courtyard where you can enjoy your meals + the Italian sun while you read the newspaper. Perfect for a couple wanting a romantic holiday or a family with 1-2 children (you can relax while they play outside as the courtyard is safe and has a gate) or even for an elderly couple, as there are NO BRIDGES from the nearest VAPORETTO STOP (only a couple of minutes away) and the apartment is on the ground floor (yet no problems with high tide!). 1 twin/double bedroom+a dining area with well-equipped kitchenette, sofa bed for two and table for 4-6, bathroom with shower + a beautiful courtyard surrounded by plants with table, chairs and a garden umbrella. Fresh linen, towels+hairdryer provided. Payment by credit card, cash on arrival or bank transfer. Immobiliare Rio Alto will be here in Venice to assist you. The apartment is located in a quiet lane by one of the most typical streets in Venice, via Garibaldi. In the morning this street fills with colourful market stalls selling fruit, vegetables and fish. Savour the real Venice in one of the less touristy areas! The nearest vaporetto stop is only a couple of minutes away: a beautiful stroll (no bridges!!!) under a green canopy of trees under which Venetians and tourists alike rest, enjoying the fresh breeze, in the hottest months of the year. A few steps away, you can also enjoy a beautiful view of the lagoon. The perfect setting for an unforgettable holiday! Near the BIENNALE art exhibition and one of the greenest areas of the city. Wir waren im Juli dort und haben einen tollen Aufenthalt gehabt.Alle Annehmlichkeiten wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Vermietungsagentur,vaporetti etc in unmittelbarer Umgebung.Im kleine Häuschen im Hinterhof konnten wir morgens draußen frühstücken und verbrachten schöne Abende nach anstrengenden Besichtigungen wie der Biennale (auch ganz nahe).Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt ohne Touristenschwärme und mit einer netten Betreung durch Immobiliare Rio Alto.

An Ideal Base

It was our first visit to Venice and we wanted to self-cater and spend most of our four days exploring the city and islands. The flat was ideal in all respects. It was compact, cosy and well-equipped, and located in a quiet residential area with small shops, markets, bars, banks, etc. We had no problem (aided by a small dictionary) with our shopping, and the fresh fruit and vegetables were delicious. During the day we stopped for coffee and snacks at small bars in quiet side streets.

The area is well served by the vaporetti and it's easy to get to other parts of Venice (including the Grand Canal) and the islands. It's also only a few minutes walk from St Marks Square. One of the most spectacular views of Venice is from the bell-tower at St Marks; it opens at 9am and it's easy to get there from the flat before the crowds and queues build up.

We found that the information on the website was clear and accurate, and booking arrangements and assistance provided in Venice were efficiently and pleasantly handled.

We would certainly consider returning to the flat and would recommend it to our friends.

A cute little apartment for two

This apartment is perfect for two people, especially if you want to be close to all the conveniences but away from the main tourist crowds. Even so it is only a 10 minute walk to Piazza San Marco, and close to the waterbus stop so you can get anywhere easily.
It has everything you need, including a quiet little courtyard where you can sit with your morning coffee .

Als Venedig-Liebhaber haben wir eine Woche über Silvester dort verbracht. Alles da, Wäsche ohne Ende, etwas versteckt gelegen (bei Anreise nicht gleich erschrecken.....) aber eben ruhig und zentral....

Wunderbar, nur zu empfehlen.....
