Dear Robert,,,,,Yes we had a great time......The sun Shone all the time, the Apartment was just Great for us, and the Location made it easy for Travelling around the City, and the Islands.
To be able to look out of the Window on to the Canal was the 'icing on the cake'.

Railto is really nearby!

We stayed in this apartment for 4 days. It is very near to the Rialto Bridge, which makes it easy to find your way back home (Rialto is signed from most areas of Venice).

There are three flights of stairs up to the apartment, which has been newly renovated. It was spotless, with plain modern furnishings. Both kitchen and bathroom were sparkling too. A tiny quiet canal can be seen from the bedroom window. There is also small helpful shop nearby for your croissants, cheese and wine! The air conditioning was quiet and efficient. What more could you need in Venice?

Highly recommended for anyone desiring a quiet, air-conditioned getaway in the middle of a wonderful part of Venice. Everything was clean and in working order, and the neighborhood is great. There is a supermarket close by for staples, and the Rialto fruit and vegetable market is also very close. Thanks to Signora Sandra and to Robert for making our stay such a pleasant one! Very nice, quiet and perfectly situated apartment

We were as a couple (~ 45 y) for 5 days in Venice, and had wonderful holidays there.

The apartment is nice, clean and well equipped. Description is accurate. We cooked some of the meals in the apartment; fridge, cooker are perfect, kitchen utensil is o.k. Dishwasher and washing-machine are available.

The location of the apartment near the Rialto-bridge is perfect in order to reach all quarters of Venice by feet or ship.

We've enjoyed the Rialto market which is five minutes away from the apartment and where one can buy wonderful fruits, vegetables and fresh fish in a nice athmosphere every day (until 12 a.m.). We love to drink Espresso in the bars in the morning, and the bakeries, which all are suited near to the apartment. And we love to sit in a café on the place Campo Maria Novo with the wonderful Maria-miracoli-church, which is 1 minute away. Several internet-points are situated some minutes from the apartment.

We will recomment the apartment to friends, and would like to rent it again, when we will go to Venice in future.

potentially lovely but badly maintained

The apartment is central, quiet and modernised, but let down by poor maintenance.
1) The dishwasher needed rinse aid and salt, & no detergent was supplied
2) One of the two spotlights in the kitchen needed a new bulb
3) The light over the cooker was broken
4) the front burner on the hob is broken
5)The washing machine 'clean filter' light is on, so it does not spin effeciently
6) the tv remote control does not work (? new battery?)
7)The shower head is silted up so has a very poor water flow
8) the wall clock does not work
9) The front door lock plate is missing a screw, so it is difficult to unlock

We asked the owner when he showed us the flat about the dishwasher and the light, but he did not supply anything. We contacted the agent, who told us that he had emailed him twice, but without response.

This flat could be very nice, but if the equipment and amenties are either broken or need servicing, it is not as represented in the description. The owner is very offhand, and would not show us how anything worked ( maybe he knew it didn't) - we have rented many apartments in Italy, and this is a very unusual attitude.

We always Follow up all comments and all faults are rectified immediately,
Although some of the points mentioned were minor we endeavour to make you stay problem free
these have now been rectified...
