It consists of: 1 living/dining with a sofa bed, 1 large bedroom with a king size bed, 1 small bedroom with 1 single bed and an extra folded bed, modern kitchen/dining-room (fully equipped for gourmet cook with fridge, freezer, washing machine, kettle, coffee maker, two ovens and all utensils and many recipes), 1 luxury bathroom with shower enclosure, 2 balconies and a terrace with sun curtains and table to have breakfast/lunch outside . As additional facilities, Internet access, air conditioning in summer, and autonomous heating in winter are available.

About us

We are Mariella (IT Engineer and Architecture student) and Mauro (Executive Economist). We live and work in Rome. As Mariella grew-up in Venice we always had the dream of having a home in Venice. We realized this dream just three years ago and we have spent many week-ends to refurbish and embellish the apartment. At the end we got what we were looking for. We would like to keep the apartment only for ourselves, but, as you may know, the restoring and maintenance activities are quite expensive in Venice! Then we have decided to rent or exchange the apartment for the periods we are not in Venice.

Cannaregio-real life in Venice

Cannaregio is the neighbourhood in Venice where you can taste the real life of Venetian citizen. Nowdays Venice appears to be a 'Town Museum' and all you can see is conceived for tourists: shops, restaurants, transport, tours, etc. Of course attractions are many and tourism is a big business in Venice. But Venice is also a town where people still live and work day by day. Children play in typical courtyard, women buy fruits and fresh vegetable in many of the open markets, Stores and supermarket offer all kind of product at convenient price, Restaurants are typical for local people and not expensive at all. In a few word, Cannaregio is the place where you can live as Venetians still do even if life in Venice is very different from any part of the world!
