Total of 3 rooms, for 5+1 people, and 1 bathroom.

The welcoming living room has lots of windows, a divan and lcd TV, it is separate from the kitchen, which has a table and comfortable chairs that can accommodate 6 people, that is perfectly equipped -including a dishwasher. There are 3 bedrooms: one with a 'matrimonial' bed (large double bed); one with twin beds, and the third with a single bed (with possibility to put a sofa bed) Free Wifi connection is available. There are ample closets and even a safe. The bathroom is complete with tub and washing machine. The furniture was well chosen as was everything else to make a stay here both pleasing and unforgettable. (The linens for the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen, the phone, iron and ironing board, cleaning supplies and portable telephone with a rechargeable phone card, available to our guests.) The heating and air conditioning are independent and can be controlled by the guests themselves.

The apartment is located on the first floor of a charming little 'Palazzetto' (little Palazzo). It is independent and in a delightful corner of peace and tranquillity very near the elegant heart of Venice: Via XXII Marzo, a street that hosts many of the most exclusive and well known shops in the world (Bulgari, Fendi, Gucci, Ferragamo, etc.) as well as elegant hotels such as The Gritti Palace, The Bauer and the Westin Europe and Regina; and is only 200 meters from Piazza San Marco. The calle (street) runs lateral to Via XXII Marzo, the wide calle which is the most elegant and central of Venice, and only 200 meters from Piazza San Marco. The Vaparetto stop (public transportation) is called 'Santa Maria del Giglio', and only 50 meters from the apartment there is a canal where a private water taxi can easily dock.

  • A complete restoration of the Palazzo was completed in November 2006. This included up to date furnishings, complete painting of the interior as well as the stairs and roof repair. Different from most apartments in Venice located on the first floor, the 'Giovanna' is very light and airy at all hours of the day. On one side it faces a garden of a well known Venetian hotel, and on the other, a courtyard which is shaded during the warm season by an age old pleasant smelling Wisteria. There are 3 bedrooms: one with a 'matrimonial' bed (large double bed); one with twin beds, and the third with a single bed. There are ample closets and even a safe.

Had a wonderful time

Stayed here in early Jan 2012 with family of 4 including grown teenagers and had a great time thank you.

The apartment is lovely with a good rooms and a modern fit-out and probably the nicest of approx 10 we have stayed in on our travels. Very close to St Marc's square and a short walk to everything else.

Superb stay at Renato Apartment

Fantastic, well equipped and well maintained apartment. It was only a few metres away from piazza San Marco. Apartment is as new and very quiet. Recommend the seafood risotto at da rafaele restaurant which is just around the corner. The rooftop terrazza was a bonus.

wonderful location

nice and clean apartment, fully provided kitchen
we really enjoyed stay at Giovanna apartment

Just a few steps from St.Marco - heart of Venice
and walking distance for Academia bridge - we didn't need to use much of transport
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great location - modern apartment

We were pleasantly surprised by just how good the location of this apartment was. Close to St Mark's Square and very near a vaporetto stop, yet quiet.
The apartment was very clean and modern and suited us perfectly.
We found the associated hotel helpful when we needed gumboots - three Aqua Alte (winter high tides) in three days!
We found some good places to eat close by with the help of the Lonely Planet guide. Would recommend this apartment to others without hesitation.

Great apartment

Lovely spacious and bright apartment right in the heart of Venice, but in a quiet and characterful corner. Well equipped and maintained and offers great views from small terrace. Highly recommended both as a base for exploring and to return to.
