Our luxury rental apartment is in a perfect central location in the upmarket residential district of San Marco, Venice. Two minutes walk from the Grand Canal, and the San Samuele and Sant'Angelo vaporetto stops, giving access to the whole of Venice. It's only a few minutes walk to Piazza San Marco, Rialto and Accademia, the Fenice Opera house and the shops restaurants, bars of the Mercerie and Frezzeria. Two minutes across the Grand Canal by traghetto are the Dorsoduro, San Polo and Santa Croce districts of Venice with galleries, churches, restaurants and shops. Take the 82 vaporetto (20 mins) from San Samuele to the Lido, home of the Venice Film Festival, for a lovely day on the beach or visit the nearby islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello by steamer from San Marco. Verona, Vicenza, Padova, Ravenna and Florence are easily reached by train from Venice and make great day trips.

A delightful apartment which was lovely and clean and very well maintained, The first view was a beautifull boquet of flowers from my new husband, which he arranged with the owner, Perfect honeymoon location.

Beautifully decorated to appeal to those who would enjoy a historical feel of Venice. A hideaway with a sunny balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard where you can enjoy a drink, breakfast etc - you will not want to move.

Close to all the sites and very convenient for the vaporetta, no long haul with your suitcase. Turn right out of the front door and right again, walk to the end (2 mins) to a local shop for fresh bread in the morning and other essentials .

Off the main route, yet very convenient and quiet. The air con was an essential too, could not have done without it at night. Would definately come back.

Perfect location ! Beautiful apartment !

My Wife and I visited Venice once before, staying in a hotel in Mestre two years ago, the absolute pits compared to the comfort and convenience of this apartment.

We both built a mental picture of the property from the photos on the holidaylettings website. Then when we arrived we couldn't believe how big it was. The photos certainly do not do it justice. We expected something a lot more compact and bijou. The sunny balcony is a tremendous bonus for morning coffee and a quite drink in the afternoon after taking in some of the awesome sights of Venice before setting off out again to explore the many bars and restaurants within a ten minute walk. Fabulous.

We will certainly be asking Sara and Kim if we can rent again.
