'Campo di Fragole' is a property situated in the countryside at 45 km from Naples, 25 km from the famous Caserta Palace, 50 km from Pompei.The property consists of a cottage with 3 bedrooms, a bungalow with 2 bedrooms near the main villa. 'Campo di Fragole' is 2km far from Sant'Agata dei Goti, which is a charming medieval town, famous for its monumental and historical beauties. The main villa, recently refurnished, was a Seminary during the 19th century and it is now a relaxing place for people who love the country side, wellness and music. 'Campo di fragole' is the Italian translation for 'Strawberry fields...forever'; Fiamma and Enzo, the landlords, are keen on music and collectors of Beatles Memorabilia, all saved in a 'museum room' nicknamed 'Beatles corner'. Wellness packages are available; Indian and shatsu massages are some of the initiatives to help your rest and enjoy your stay

During your stay in 'Campo di Fragole' close to our site you can visit: Telese with its thermal Center, San Lorenzello medieval town famous for its market of antiquities, San Marco dei Gavoti and its delicious sweet torroni, Cusano Mutri a wonderful mountain village. Driving 1hour / 2 hours you can also visit Pompei, Hercolaneum, Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Paestum, Gaeta, Rome, etc. Benevento, 1hour driving from 'Campo di Fragole', is a very interesting city to visit. Rich of Roman monuments and History, since the Middle Age it is also famous to be a 'Witches city'. Legends and places will reveal the story of one of the 3 most mysterious sites of the world. If you do not want to drive you can walk through the wood along a stream, or drive for a while and walk or climb the Taburno mountain.

  • The rental is referred for the whole cottages:
    One Cottage is composed by 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen.
    Sleeps 6 to 8. The kitchen is fully equipped for the self catering, but it is also possible to have breakfast and meals served. The price goes from 600,00 per week(5 people), bed linen are not included (the price is 5 Euro per person per week) 45/55 Euro for final cleaning according to the number of people in the cottage. It is also required a 150 Euro security deposit payable on arrival. It is possible to book massages and the use of the heated hydro massage pool for 4 people. From 14 June to 30 Aug the price goes from 700 Euro per week (5 people), ( for example 800 for 8 people).
  • The other Cottage is a bungalow, composed by 2 double bedrooms, 1litle room,1wc and shower a living room and a kitchen.
    Sleeps 4 to 6. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering, but it is also possible to have breakfast and meals served. The price goes from 500, 00 per week (3 people), bed linen are not included (the price is 5 Euro per person per week) 30/45 Euro for final cleaning. It is also required a 150 Euro security deposit payable on arrival.
    From 14 June to 30 Aug the price goes from 550 Euro per week (3 people), ( for example 650 for 5 people).
    The daily cost for a double room ensuite in the main Villa(B&B), including breakfast for 2 people, goes from 65,00 Euro.
  • Please ask for availability, prices and ACTIVITIES. Trip to Naples. Pompei, Capri, Ischia, Sorrento, Paestum, Gaeta, Rome, etc.. yoga session, massage, SPA for 4 people are some of the initiatives to help you rest and enjoy your stay.

We've all arrived safely to our homes. Thank you for all you did to make our family trip so spectacular. We enjoyed every bit of your lovely Campo di Fragole and the surroundings. . .most especially the graciousness and generosity of Antonetta. We also appreciated your insights, your suggestions and your willingness to answer our millions of questions. It's those things that made our trip extraordinary. . .your Italian hospitality made it seem as though we were visiting family.
We've only slightly touched on all the beauty and richness of Italy's glorious south and so we hope to return...we're all looking forward to that.
