La Margherita, is a small cottage in the middle of the well known Amalfi Coast, on a high cliff above the sea with a breathtaking view over the entire Bay of Salerno and 'Li Galli' islands. Set in a private condominium composed of various villas which all have a private access to a rocky beach. Situated 3 km from the village of Colli di Fontanelle, where shops of all descriptions, restaurants and bars can be found, is a perfect start for daily trips to places of interest in the area, Positano, Amalfi , Pompeii Archaeological and Sorrento from where you can take ferries to Capri, Ischia and all other resort of the Bay of Naples. The two rooms house (air-conditioned), fully furnished to a quality standard, is also provided with a furnished garden terrace and a barbecue corner for your night under the stars. Well connected by public transport at 600 mt, but having a car would be an advantage. The relaxing atmosphere of the view over the sea makes it a perfect accommodation for a couple.

The Amalfi Coast a spectacular winding coast characterised by constantly changing views of enchanting landscapes, with fantastically shaped rocks plunging towards a clear blue sea, little villages clinging to the cliffs above the inlets like Positano, an elegant and picturesque resort with its white Mediterranean houses arrayed on the terraces; or like the little town of Amalfi, whose life revolves around the lovely Cathedral square, creating an atmosphere not all different to the way it was 1000 years ago, when the town was the leading Maritime Republic in the world. Beautiful cottage with stunning views

What a lovely cottage with great views out to sea. Maintained to a high standard and well equipped throughout. Sunbathing is limited as the garden is quite shaded but I still managed to get a lovely tan. A great base for seeing the local area as Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi are all easy to reach by car. Nervous drivers be aware, its mad!! There would appear to be an invisable middle lane used for overtaking any/every where. A well recommended property that we would hope to visit again.

An eagle's nest half way down a cliff, with a panoramic view of Circe's islands that changed every moment. Excellently equipped and very comfortable. We had a super week - but you will need a car, and be prepared to cope with the roads on to the peninsula.
