Situated just outside the charming town of Cisternino in the heart of the Itria valley is one of the most stunning clusters of Trulli that we have seen. The owners have lovingly restored three Trulli and a farmhouse building to offer self-catering accommodation and several rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. We have chosen the two most characteristic Trullo apartments located close to the swimming pool. The trulli are situated in a peaceful location at the end of a country lane. They are positioned on a hill and have lovely views of the surrounding area.

Trullo Nuovo (Sleeps 5) . Private Trullo overlooking the pool. Equipped terrace with a table , chairs and parasol at the rear side of the Trullo. There are two entrances into the Trullo. Entrance into lounge area with a sofa bed. One bathroom with a shower and WC. Archway leads to one bedroom with a french bed (3/4 size) . Archway leads to a kitchen area (cooking hob, fridge, microwave). Bathroom with a shower + WC. Master double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a shower and small bath. (Second Entrance is into the kitchen from the terrace).

The heel of Italy, Puglia stretches over 400km from north to south and is currently being proclaimed as the new Tuscany. While so very different from Tuscany the comparison is fully justified as there is just as much to see and do while the water is much cleaner, the beaches are better and the climate much hotter. Puglia enjoys a warm climate all year round and the best time to visit is between March and mid July and September to November. In August the temperature can soar to over 40º and rain is unusual.
