Laid back, basic, all you need!

The location was very good, just out of the village about a 2min drive and the main beach 5 mins drive. The village had two supermarkets, one for the locals (i forget the name) which was considerbly cheaper and one aimed at tourist. Would recommend the local one. The main beach was very nice but quite busy. However there are plenty of beaches a little further a field (5mins in car). The wider location is good for anything on the north-eastern coastline, like Castelsardo and Stintino (great beaches).
The property itself was basic but very clean and tidy. Had everything that you would need. Nice patio area to the front with table and chairs, great for a drink in the evening watching the sunset. Must mention the very nice traditional furniture as well.
The only problem with the property itself was that the shower was quite small and the rollers on the door had broken. But apart from that it was in tip top condition. One other gripe that we had was of the dogs in neighbouring fields barking at night. It was quite irratating trying to get to sleep with not only the heat but dogs yapping and howling in the distance. But for the price that you pay I suppose it was the only drawback. This shouldnt put you off though.
The property would have benefitted from a pool (which would have made it perfect) in my view and nets on the windows to stop the mozzies (although i did have a lot of fun swatting them!) and a fan for the bedroom.
The resteraunt next to the property serves good food and had the option for guests to order pizza's to take back to their villa, which i thought was a good idea if you didnt want to cook but stay in. A small grasp of Italian would be helpful as pointing to everything you want is a little embarrising after a bit.
In all we had a very nice relaxing holdiay at a very affordable price. I was very happy with the property overall and for the price it was the best I found in all of Sardinia! I would recommend to anyone on a budget looking for a stress free holiday!
