The Villa is only minutes away from spectacular natural coast line, golden beaches lapped by the clean waters of the Adriatic and the historic centre of Ostuni a Medieval town with its maze of beautiful cobbled streets and baroque architecture. This large, comfortable and immaculate villa has a magnificent open galleried entrance and hall with marbled pillars, stairs and ceramic floors, attractive modern conveniences, corner bath, bedrooms with balconies, Pizza Oven and BBQ facilities for alfresco dining.

Ostuni in Puglia is one of the most stunning towns of southern Italy. Bathed in sunshine for most of the year its climate is typically Mediterranean with warm breezes that sweep across this ancient landscape with its endless olive groves, sandy beaches lapped by the clean waters of the Adriatic, a wealth of history and well preserved buildings displaying some of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in Puglia. There is lots of local atmosphere only 5 mins away in the Piazza with excellent restaurants and craft shops tucked away amongst the well preserved winding cobbled streets. Additionally you are ideally placed for exploring one of the most important Baroque cities In Italy - Lecce 75km away, Alberobello (30km) the delightful Trulli buildings found nowhere else in Italy, the wonderful port of Brindisi (30km) where ferries sail to Greece and Villanova (7km) - where you can dine in open air restaurants overlooking the Adriatic sea.

First bedroom is a family room with king size bed, walk in dressing room, cot and patio doors which lead straight out onto the balcony overlooking the garden, the second bedroom also has a king size bed with patio doors leading out onto balcony overlooking garden and there are 2 twins which have access to front balcony with panoramic views towards the town of Ostuni (the white city). On entering the Villa there is a magnificent open galleried hall and stylish marbled pillars, stairs and ceramic floors. The lounge and dining area which is spacious and combined has patio doors which lead directly into the large, private, peaceful garden and patio area for alfresco dining during the summer months while for those cooler evenings there is a solid marble semi circular fireplace which burns wood

Golf: Only 25 mins away - 'The San Domenico Golf' course lies between the ancient Greek colony (5th century B.C.) of Egnathia and the small fisherman village of Savelletri. It's southern boundary is as close to the sea as the rocky coastline will allow and there are olive groves to the north. Designed by 'European Golf Design' the course has been constructed to the highest standards with greens conforming to the USGA Specifications. The course is a challenging 18 hole golf course which offers an unforgettable experience for visitors and superb view of the Adriatic Sea from every tee, green and fairway. A Magnificient Villa in a beautiful part of Italy

We visited in April 2009. The Villa is magnificent and has a wonderful patio and swimming pool with plenty of space to relax. Our children (7 and 5) enjoyed swimming most evenings. The photographs don't do it justice. Inside the Villa is very spacious and clean and with four bedrooms and three bathrooms is suitable for both small and large families. The Villa has everything you need for your stay, buckets, spades etc are provided for the children to use at the beach.

Diane and Michael were perfect hosts. We arrived at 12.00 midnight on Saturday and they were there to welcome us and had a wonderful supper prepared, with local red wine, which was excellent. They advised us on the places to visit and where to eat and encouraged us to call them if we needed anything during our stay. Their recommendations were perfect.

Ostuni is a lovely old town about 5 minutes drive from the Villa. It has many lovely restaurants, which are all reasonably priced. The locals as you expect with Italians were very helpful and friendly. The Villa is a great place to stay whether you want to relax or go sight seeing as there are many towns all within less than an hours drive. Places to see are Cisterino, Martina Franca, Alberobello (trulli houses) and Lecce.

We have been to many places in Italy and this was the best Villa we stayed in.

If you decide to stay in the Villa, you will not be disappointed.

A great holiday in a beautiful villa in a wonderful part of Italy.
A warm welcome was given by Diane on arrival and everything you needed for your stay was provided.The large swimming pool is set in a beautiful garden with plenty of space to relax.
The weather for October was great,we travelled around by car but one day we took the train to Lecce which was a great day out.
We look forward to returning very soon.

I have never had the post holiday blues so bad!!!!

We have had a great 2 weeks in this fantastic villa. The Villa and pool were absolutely fabulous and proved a real hit with both the children and adults. We did not move too far from the pool in the second week of our stay which says it all.

But if anything could top the accommodation it was Diane, our perfect hostess - she has been an amazing. As well as offering suggestions and recommendations on places and restaurants to visit she gave private swimming lessons to our kids, assisted with our hire car breakdown and just showed a genuine interest and passion in ensuring we had the best holiday ever - and we certainly did.

Ostuni is a beautiful part of Italy and we'd love to come back and visit and stay in Diane's villa again.
