Casa Smeralda is a nice and comfortable holiday rental house situated in a secluded community, called Costa Paradiso. A quiet and very natural area known for its beautiful nature, its pink granite rocks with unusual shapes and its rich Mediterranean flora. The villa has a nice and spacious kitchen, a big living room with a fireplace, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom completely renovated in 2006. The living room and the master room open on to a wide terrace with a barbecue area.

There are superb sea views, particularly at sunset. Private parking. Sports Center with courts and swimming pool at 5 minutes walking distance, the pool is opened seasonally from June to September (Entrance Fee). Shops are at 5 minutes drive as well as access to the sea.

This is an ideal place for nature lovers.

Costa Paradiso is a on the northwest coast of Sardinia. 30 kms south of Santa Teresa di Gallura, and 30 kms north of Castelsardo. One and a half hour drive from both Alghero (Ryan Air) and Olbia (Easy Jet) the two major Sardinian Airports. Possible day trips for those who enjoy exploring the area: access by boat to Corsica (France) in an hour time from Santa Teresa, as well as excursions organised to the various little island of COSTA SMERALDA 40' away by boat from Santa Teresa.

Several sandy beaches in the surrounding areas as well as natural rocky secret coves.

Sports Center with tennis courts and swimming pool at walking distance from Casa Smeralda.

Additional information about rental rates

  • To secure a reservation the 30% of the total rent amount is required plus damage deposit of 500€ .
    These amounts are non-refundable in the event of susequent cancellation.
    Full balance is due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. Rates include all linen and towels for use in the villa, electricity and a maximum of 2 hours final cleaning.
    The cost of any further cleaning required on departure will be deducted from deposit. We kindly ask our tenants to leave the house in the same conditions they found it.

Notes: The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 master bedroom with double bed (i.e. 1mt60 large), 1 double bed room (bed 1.40mt large) and 1 room with 3 beds; one 1.60 mt.large double bed and 1 single bed . Only one big brand new bathroom with shower , but a little toilet in the cellar beneath the house. Washing machine. Very pleasant and large patio terrace exposed southwest with sea view, barbecue, lunch area and sun loungers. The kitchen is large and well equipped (no dish washer). The house is equipped with electrical radiators and a fireplace and it is rented also in winter. At Easter time flora is at its top.

Very beautiful surroundings. Beautiful landscape. Car absolutely required. The house is in a good state but you have to be prepared against the mosquitoes (zanzare), they crowd the place. It is the price of being in the middle of the mountains, ;-). The village is in a very exclusive private domain. There are very good restaurants in the surroundings (Da Paolino in Trinità d'Augultu must be absolutely visited). The owner's indications are very useful.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Casa Smeralda.
We enjoyed the place very much. The house is pleasant and has a great terrace. The view from it takes the breath away... A family of wild boars went visiting us regularly. Really cute!
The surrondings are amazing as well, however a car is definitely needed to enjoy the various beaches and activities nearby.
We appreciated the useful advices/suggestions of Patricia, the owner. She is very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to stay!

Very nice place

We spent 10 days in Casa Smeralda and enjoyed the place very much. Nice house, well kept, con gusto, with a great terrace and beautiful surrounding. Calm place and regularly frequented by wild boars. Car is absolutely needed to visit various nice beaches nearby (10-20 min. drive). Children love the place too. And Patricia, the owner, is very friendly and uncomplicated. Try it! Gorgeous view in beautiful location

Casa Smeralda is a small semi detached house with a lovely view. The owner's description is accurate. The bathroom is well fitted with a washing machine. Bedrooms are smallish. We were only two and thought 7 people would struggle with the space especially with only one bathroom. We spent most of our time outside on the lovely terrace with terrific views. We were visited most evenings by a family of boars. They love apples! This complex is very quiet so if you are looking for a wild time this would not be the place for you. We just loved our morning coffees and cocktails on the terrace with the fab views. Each day we visited a different beach. They were all wonderful in their own way. The owner called us one day to make sure all was well. She was very helpful.
