We had a very good time

Porto Torres a town with a terrible ugly skyline, but with a pleasant and nice Sardinian atmosphere. The town is strategicly located if you have a car. There are many nice beaches both in the town and nearby. It was convenient for us to drive to Stintino, Alghero, Costa Smeralda etc.
The owner of the house gave us personal service and a hospitality that made our stay even better.
The house was located at a busy street. It had all needed facilities with a nice courtyard. We were eight people in the house and we all had enough space (and warm water).
It was our first time that we rented a house via HomeAway. We are very pleased and most likely we will do it again and we will also recommend others to do the same.
We can recommend other guests to rent the house.
We think that Porto Torres have a touristic potential, but today a car or other means of transportation is necessary.
Owner's Response: I would like to thank Dolphine for their positive review. I would like to add, for those of you that have never been to this town, that Porto Torres is devided into two distinct areas. One is the old town, near the seaside; the other one is the industrial zone which is on the west part of the coast and far away from the main town centre, where the house is situated.
The house is very central to all local aminites, such as shops and restaurants, which are used by all the locals. For this reason it is ideal for anyone renting the property. However, the house does have an spacious internal courtyard to the front and back, providing it with a quiet and relaxing environment.
In order to take full advantage of all that Sardinia offers in the surrounding areas, a car is advisable. However, for those of you who do not have the possibility to drive or hire a car, the owner does offer a pick-up and drop-off service to and from the airport.
