'We would just like to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at your lovely Villa. The area was beautiful and weather excellent. We have left a note in the visitors book and could have written pages! ...We will quite happily recommend the villa to friends and family.' Nick & Julie Harvard August 2008 'We had a most wonderful holiday, and Id like to compliment you on having such a lovely (and well appointed) villa in such an idyllic location. Your directions were excellent and we had no trouble finding the villa.' Brian Davies, Kent UK June 2007 'A lovely secluded villa, equipped with everything you could possibly need. Clean and well presented with nice personal touches to make it feel homely. Only a short drive away from local towns and beautiful beaches, it's in a great location, just watch out on the narrow lane!' Charlotte from Sheffield 26 August 2006

'Thank you, it was a most enjoyable holiday. This was helped by the fact the house was so comfortable. We also enjoyed the DVDs. Also enjoyed your music very much so that was a bonus.... I would mention that we came across a small town by chance, Oria down towards the Med coast. It was such a surprise as there is so much history there with a Swabian castle where you can tour around. It would be good to return to the area and do some more exploring. So thank you. Mrs I Thur low June 2006' 'If you want peace and quiet but within easy reach of quaint towns such as Ostuni and Martina Franca and beaches, then Villa Rosa is the ideal base. I spent four days there in July 2005 and enjoyed chilling out and getting away from it all but appreciated the convenience of having plenty of places to visit of interest nearby.' 'We had a wonderful weekend in the villa. There were two couples (no kids) and it was an oasis of calm. The route to the villa winds through the fields and farms for some way off the main road - it's really very pretty and the road IS wider than it looks but do take care anyway! The villa itself is very cosy. The kitchen is well fitted out. Both the bedrooms are clean and comfortable and the lounge is well stocked with books and other diversions. The main attraction though is sitting up on the terrace balcony and watching the sun go down This is a place to be outside not inside. My overriding memory is of chain-eating nodini ('little knots' - a type of mozzarella) with tiny juicy tomatoes, olive oil and some herbs from the garden, and sitting back feeling the sluggish hot Mediterranean breeze warm and wash over me. A good trip. Top tips are: you need a car. (Ian Davidson, London, stayed summer 2005

Other Activities Visiting local historic towns of Lecce, Ostuni and Martina Franca and trulli villages of Alberobello & Locorotondo.

'We spent a wonderful and relaxing 10 days at the Villa Rosa from 2-12 August 2005. The house was perfect for a family of 4 and made a great base from which we explored the baroque splendours of Ostuni, Martina Franca, Lecce and many more. There are beaches within easy reach and if you get weary of doing battle on the Italian roads, the Villa makes a great retreat amid the almond & olive trees.' Sue Walder, London.
