Locorotondo holiday villa in Locorotondo

My family and I, along with my sister-in-law and her family, had a wonderful week at the Trulli Limone. Not only is it in a gorgeous setting, it was brilliant to stay in such a historic and charming house which has been sympathetically restored to retain all the original features.

We were a big group, four adults and seven children in total, but there was plenty of space for everyone and the big garden meant there was lots of room for the kids to run about without getting in the way of the adults. We really enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard in the evening while listening to the children play in the olive grove.

I really appreciated the fact that there was plenty of equipment for my 10 month old baby - a highchair and cot were provided which was great and saved us from having to lug ours over to Italy. There is also a well equipped kitchen so preparing meals was easy, not always something to be relied upon in a holiday rental property. And on the nights when we didn't feel like cooking, we drove a short distance to a nice restaurant for great pizza.

It was too cold when we went to use the pool (Easter) but we would love to come again in peak season - it would have been great for the kids to splash about while we sunned ourselves on the loungers!

The location is great, with loads to see and do nearby. Lots of historic towns nearby for great sightseeing and loads of wonderful restaurants to visit. We also went to the coast a few times - there are some very beautiful places to visit in the Puglia region.

I would recommend the Trulli Limone to anyone, and especially for families with children.

We have had a wonderful holiday in this Trulli June 19 /26. We were a family of 6, parents ,daughters 23 and 20 and their partners. The Trulli is well equipped. We had plenty of room and us parents slept in the lovely little Trulli in the garden.The welcome pack was well received after a long days journey. It is quiet and in a wonderful position. We were very relieved to have hired two small cars rather than a 6 seater when we had to negotiate the VERY narrow lane. The little towns are near so you can visit them easily. The best nearest supermarket is on the Locorotondo to Fasano road about a mile outside Locorotondo on the right opens at 9 on a Sunday. One of our daughters could drive ( Avis no age restriction) so the young could go out. We would highly recommend this property.

We spent a magical week at Trullo Limone with friends. The whole area is quiet, peaceful yet near to lively villages and the coast. Visits to Lecce and Ostuni took us back to Byzantine times and were well worth while.The trullo is very well equipped with clean, modern bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms. The terrace has sun and shade and long, lazy meals were enjoyed. The pool is a real bonus for serious exercise or for lazing, gently on a lilo. We were very well looked after and can recommend a holiday here for large or two families or a group of friends.
