Le Due Case is our delightful holiday property in Puglia, set in the middle of its 2 acre olive grove, situated in a quiet lane, it is comfortable, quite romantic and a typical house of the region. It is perfect for a laid back holiday where you can live la dolce vita. It is ideally located if you are looking for a relaxing break, it's also wonderfully placed for exploring the beautiful cities of the Mezzogiorno, close to the dramatic coast line and fantastic beaches of Puglia. It is perfect to while away lazy days and a perfect setting to star gaze on beautiful summer nights. This is a 2 bedroomed 2 bathroomed self catering property, sleeps 4 comfortably, 6 using the sofa bed in the lounge. Comprising a double bedroom in the villino air conditioned; the trullo is a twin bedroom; the air conditioned lounge has TV,DVD,CD games and jigsaws; newly fitted kitchen is very well equipped with french doors leading to the courtyard with gazebo, BBQ & table for outside dining & 2 mountain bikes

Located close to San Vito Dei Normanni in a quiet country lane. It is close to the lovely small town of San Michele Salentino with restaurants, takeaway pizza shops and supermarkets. Approx 15kms to the “Citta Bianca”, Ostuni, or a wonderful drive through the Itria Valley takes you to the trulli town of Alberobello passing the 18th Century towns of Martina Franca and Locorotondo, a beautiful town famous for its white wine. Castellana Grotte caves can be easily reached. Further south the wine regions of Manduria and Salice Salentino beckon. Slightly further south do try to visit the beautiful city of Lecce, referred to as the 'Florence of the South'. The house is situated between the Adriatic Coast (approx 25 minutes) and the Ionian Coast (less than an hour), which leaves you spoiled for choice for fantastic beaches.

Just ask! Our usual rental period is by the week, Saturday to Saturday but this is flexible. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have a special request for periods shorter or longer or if you'd prefer a different arrival day. If you wish to stay for 10 days we will charge you the weekly rate and pro-rota the extra 3 days. Our prices are inclusive of a welcome pack of local produce, utilities and cleaning before you arrive and after you depart. A 'meet & greet' service is provided by Andrea our representative in Puglia, Andrea will meet you in the Piazza in San Michele Salentino take you to the villa, provide the key and brief you on the workings of the house.

  • Le Due Case has two newly built, modern fully tiled bathrooms. The en-suite bathroom has a wonderfully large walk in shower, bidet and a pedestal sink, with mirror and vanity lights above the hand basin. Part of the villino is a bathroom that is accessed externally, perfect for guests sleeping in the trullo or lounge. It also has a large walk in shower, a bidet, a pedestal sink with mirror and vanity lights. This bathroom also has an automatic washing machine for guests to use.

  • This is a two bedroomed property. There is one double bedroom in the villino, which is air conditioned. It has a king size bed, wardrobes and two chests of drawers. The trullo is used as a twin bedroom with a wardrobe with shelves for storage, there are lots of interesting features in this large bedroom that consists of all three trulli cones. The sofa bed in the air conditioned living room provides sleeping accommodation for a further two guests.

Notes:

The property has a large courtyard area and ample parking for at least half a dozen cars. It has 8500 square meters of olive grove which is lovely to wander through. The garden has fruit trees including fig, cherry, walnut and lemon. Guests are welcome to sample the fruit in season. There is a gazebo for shade for outside dining with a table that seats 6, and a table is available under an ancient olive tree. Outside lights to the front and side of the property, making it ideal for late evening dining, turn them off for star gazing which is a must. In the store room there are beach chairs and 4 sun beds – which are portable for you to take to the beach a bbq and coolbox. There are also 2 mountain bikes for guests to use. The house is great for children; although care should be taken if walking around the trullo cones. Note, for those with difficulty getting about, although the house is on one level there is one step up to the veranda and two steps up from the kitchen.
