Villa Ezzi will suit anyone wanting a quiet and restful holiday providing the perfect place for total relaxation and privacy set in 1.2 acres of grounds. The Villa is arranged over 2 floors and is well equipped and furnished to a comfortable standard with satellite TV and air-conditioning. The upper floor comprises 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and sea view, the other with 3 singles and views of the vineyard. Also on this floor are the living room and fully fitted semi open plan kitchen, conservatory and open balcony both with sea view. The lower floor comprises the master bedroom accessed from the covered terrace by the pool with ensuite and sitting area. A further door from the terrace leads to a large room with table tennis table, cloakroom, w/machine and fridge. The pool measures 10mx5m (not a fenced area), is 1.8m at deepest and is located just in front of the house with both sun and shaded lounging areas. There is a BBQ area at the rear of the house over looking the vineyard

Ezzi Mannu is found in the far North West of the beautiful island of Sardinia just 10km from Stintino, a small fishing village with a good choice of cafes and restaurants, shops, super market and a weekly open market well worth a visit to stock up on the local produce. Further on to the very tip is Capo Falcone, which over looks the Island of Asinara National Park and the most popular and stunning La Pelosa Beach, with its amazingly clear and turquoise shallow waters. The historic towns of Alghero and Sassari are within easy reach where you can visit museums and other places of interest or one can just stroll through the cobbled streets and enjoy the ambiance. The local Agriturismos are well worth a visit where you can sample the delights of traditional Sardinian food and local wine. The local area offers a variety of sporting activities such as wind surfing, deep sea diving, and horse riding. Boats, pedalloes and jet skis can be hired from the Pelosa beach during the main season.

Villa Ezzi - September 2009

There were 4 adults (2 couples) for this holiday and we are "experienced" villa tenants across France, Spain & Italy. Villa Ezzi is by far the best we have stayed at both in terms of its location and the villa itself, which is well equipped, with a good layout for 2 families. The arrival procedures were clear and the reception went very smoothly, with the keyholder meeting us as arranged at an easy-to-find restaurant a couple of miles from the villa, following our drive from Olbia Airport. Karen had thoughtfully provided a welcome pack - gratefully received. Although the final 0.75 of a mile (Not 5 miles as one reviewer stated!) is a non-metal track, a normal saloon car easily copes with it - even in the exceptional storm that we experienced! The villa was exceptionally clean and maintained to a high standard. The pool a very good size. The surrounding towns and villages that are within a day's easy drive are wonderful and there are some excellent beaches. For self caterers, food shopping is a delight, with small shops nearby and a large supermarket within a 15 minute drive. The communication between the owner, the keyholder and ourselves provided a high degree of confidence that any problems would be rapidly resolved (not that there were any).

Peace and quiet in the sun.

This villa is exactly as the site describes - which can't be said for all the places that we have stayed in. The isolated location, yet still with a sea view, gave us the peace and quiet that we'd hoped for, but was still close enough to places of interest. In our time at the villa we never saw another soul.
The villa itself is well laid out, well equipped and was very clean and tidy. What made it extra special was the superb pool, half of which is waist deep (on me) providing a safe haven for younger swimmers.
Karen's service is also excellent, very helpful before departure and on hand when required - our son came out in a rash while we were there and Karen informed us of the nearest medical centre and then provided translation over the phone while we were talking to the doctor.
Christian was also helpful as initial contact and we would certainly recommend the pizzas at his restaurant.
We expected the beaches to be busy in August and they certainly were, but the effort should be made to go to La Pelosa because the sea is just superb, crystal clear and warm. But get there early.
We took the boat trip from Alghero to Neptune's grotto to fill in the time between leaving the villa and our evening flight home, which was well worth doing.
All in all a very relaxing break and highly recommended.

Relaxing in Sardinia!

Wonderful secluded location, very quite and peaceful .. away from any tourists! Fantastic, roomy villa .. we enjoyed the split level set up which gave us space between us and the other family. The kids loved the green grassy area not to mention the pool and all the fun equipment ... I think that the red geraniums were well watered with the little watering cans! : ) By the end of the week we felt like locals in Stintino. The restaraunts and cafes were great ... everyone was very friendly! Thank you for all your emails, the communication has been excellent which is so important when planning a holiday overseas! Christian was great, very helpful in providing spare sheets and loo paper etc and we enjoyed the pizza at his parents restaraunt! We loved all the local beaches, we had a great day trip to Alghero and also up to Castelsardo and also over to the Blue Grotto in the Golfo di Oroseiarea .... stunning coastline! So a great holiday mix of relaxing by the pool but then some great highlight day trips too!

Beautiful villa

We spent a wonderful 10 days in the villa in May/June. It was a great time to go as it was lovely weather but not too hot or crowded anywhere. Sardinia is an amazing island and we loved staying at this villa as it was a haven to come back to. Everything is there that you need and our 4 boys loved playing table tennis and going in the pool with all the inflatables. The gardners came and cut the grass and cleaned the pool, the cleaners also came and did a very thorough clean and tidy half way through. Christian was great to have as guide on the first evening. The only thing to be aware of is if you have young children and a large family like us, we were downstairs in the master bedroom. At night we had to lock the children into the house upstairs. They had a set of keys so they could get out if they needed to and it wasn't a problem at all but I had not realised that the master bedroom was accessed separately.I would thoroughly recommend Villa Ezzi and Sardinia to anyone who likes to get away from it all. The beaches are superb.The towns are interesting and not commercialised. Great to explore the winding medieval streets - Alghero, Castelsardo and Bosa - all fascinating and stop for a coffee and icecream when you've had enough. Also lots of excellent restaurants, all very child friendly. Il Portico in Stintino and Christian's family's restaurant both great. We loved it.

Sun, glorious sun!

This lovely, clean and well equipped villa, in a relaxing and peaceful location, was exactly as described in the advert. Karen's welcome pack was very thoughtful and well appreciated. Both Karen and Christian were very helpful and communication was very good.
The indoor table tennis table was useful as it also enabled us to get out of the sun!!
Recommend Christian's family pizza restaurant at the end of the track. Also a visit to La Pelosa Beach in the north and a boat trip from Alghero to Grotte Nettuno are well worth it.
If you are doing lots of trips out the dirt track can become very monotonous!
