The property is designed as a large spacious 4 bedroomed Villa. The villa has 2 bedrooms, double & twin, both with on-suites on the first floor & a lounge leading out onto expansive sun terrace overlooking the valley with stunning views across the valley to the sea. On the ground floor there are 2 further twin bedrooms with shared bathroom and spacious dinning/kitchen. There are both internal & external stairs to the first floor. For winter weeks the house is heated with a wood burner in the first floor lounge. The main sun terrace is paved in the classic local Bosa stone and offers an extensive area for sun bathing and relaxing with the separate lower spa terrace and BBQ with good range of furnature. Outside there are two spa pools cool or warm as you desire to chill in the sunshine or relax in the evening looking out over the magnificent view over the valley to the sea. To watch the Sardinian sunset from your warm spar tub with a glass of local wine is truly memorable experience.

Magomadas is a small hillside village 10 minutes from the historic town of Bosa. Bosa is set on the banks of the River Temo, the only navigable river in Sardinia; its origins go back to Phoenician times. The old historical town centre spreads up the side of the hill away from the river and is topped by the Malaspina Castle. The walk up through the cobbled street leading up to the castle is well worth the effort. The views from here encompass the whole of Bosa and Bosa Marina, the river to the sea. Bosa has many pavement bars and cafes, as well as shops and museums, churches and a cathedral. It is possible to buy many examples of local traditional crafts. Not a 5-minute drive from Bosa is the seaside resort of Bosa Marina. The main attraction here is the long, wide strip of gently shelving beach leading into crystal clear water. Here, not only will you find a variety of beach bars, restaurants and shops but also there are facilities for many water sports.

Notes: The property is designed as a large 4 bedroom villa. Large first floor balcony off the lounge with fantastic views down the valley to the sea. Large private balcony off bedroom 1 with chairs and table. Large ground floor covered patio leading to open patio with hot tub and barbeque and raised garden area at the front of the villa. Upstairs lounge has a woodburner for heating in the winter months. The villa was completed in April 2006 and furnished to a very high standard with mainly Oak furniture. All floors are tiled in white and olive green with white walls and many bold coloured pictures.

Villa With Stunning Views

This really is a villa with spectacular views - Especially from the hot tub. The location is very quiet and peaceful, but you do need a car to get to the beach and the supermarket at Bosa (there's a great strip of sandy beach at Bosa Marina). The Villa is fully equiped and has a BBQ on the large terrace - perfect for an evening in !

There are a couple of good restaurants locally - one up in the town (10 mins walk) and the other a 5 minute drive (or 15- 20 min walk down the main road). The fish at Riccardo's Trattoria in the village was excellent & Angelino made a great host on the night we were at his restaurant.

A car is essential for getting around, but if you want a villa wher you can sit on the balcony in rural peace and quiet at the end of the day this is a perfect place to do it!

Excellent modern, clean, spacious holiday villa with spectacular views. The hot and cold tubs are fantastic - better than a pool! Very quiet and peaceful location, yet only minutes from the beach and busy little tourist area of Bosa Marina with its long stretch of beach and many restaurants and bars. Also close to the delightful town of Bosa. And the old town of Alghero is a very pleasant 40 minute drive away.

There are lots of restaurants. Our favourites being Riccardo's in the village of Magomadas (within walking distance) and Don Angelino's (a kilometre or so down the road). The fresh fish in Riccardo's is mouth-watering but my personal favourite was the pasta with prawns and courgettes. It looks pretty plain at first but is absolutely delicious. Also a must for dessert is the Seadas. It's a hot pecorino cheese pasty smothered in Riccardo's own honey. Sounds unusual but if you have a sweet tooth it's amazing. Don Angelino's is brilliant for the atmosphere and the geniality of the host. The pizza and fish are pretty good too. If you want to eat in Gigi's takeaway pizza place in Tresnuraghes (the next village - almost within walking distance) is highly recommended.

A couple of things to note:-
1) A car is a must
2) Everything shuts at about 1:00pm and does not re-open until about 5:00pm (apart from the bigger supermarkets) so don't go into Bosa or Alghero expecting to look around the local shops at this time.
