One bedroom romantic villa in countryside setting on the North Eastern coast of Sardinia. The villa has been renovated to a high standard and is comfortable and full of character, with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, TV, CD and DVD players, mosquito blinds to keep cool at night, patio furniture and integral outside barbecue etc. It is set in an enclosed 2 acre garden, planted with a variety of Mediterranean trees, shrubs and flowers. The garden is surrounded by farm land and olive groves with dramatic views of mountains. It is the perfect place for people who want to enjoy the famous beaches with white sands and clear turquoise water that Sardinia has to offer, but avoid the summer crowds by relaxing in a secluded environment.

Nearest Airport: Olbia at 50 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Olbia at 55 Kilometres

The villa is set in farmland between the town of Siniscola and the sea-side village of La Caletta, which is 3 km (a five minute drive) away. Olbia / Costa Smerelda airport is 30 minutes drive north. From April to October there are EasyJet flights from Bristol and Gatwick to Olbia. La Caletta offers a range of restaurants, bars and an evening street market in the summer months. From La Caletta's tourist port you can take boats to the marine park of the Gulf of Orosei. The area has loads to offer for nature lovers and outdoor pursuits, such as horse riding and diving, as well as those wishing to discover the coast of Sardinia without swathes of tourists.

Guest book 2007: Dear Peter, just to say what a wonderful holiday John and I have had. Sardinia is just beautiful and your 'romantic villa' lives up to it's name. We have arrived home feeling very refreshed but I am a little disappointed I have no fresh strawberries for breakfast. Your in-laws showed great hospitality as did others around. We went into the ceramic factory and ended up in a back room having wine and that lovely flat bread, we looked in at a beautiful garden and were invited in and came away with a bag of lemons and fresh herbs. Yes it all went very well. Dear Peter ... The holiday was fantastic and the villa was even more peaceful than we imagined, so peaceful in fact we didn't leave the terrace for the first 3 days (except to buy supplies from the supermarket!). We had a wonderful welcome from Elfisio and Caterina, and their friends, and look forward to seeing them again sometime. They advised us on where to go, best restaurants etc. and we weren't disappointed!!! Sardiania is a beautiful island! We are definitely planning on, and looking forward to returning sometime in the not too distant future. Thanks!!! Jo and Bob.....................................Hi Peter, everything was perfect! Dear Peter,
it was very nice to stay in your house.It is really very beautifull, tastefull and also contains everything we needed. We will never forget the great sunrises on the veranda. The garden is --- a paradise! And so is the island --- a wonderfull experience. We will surely return some day.

Romantic Villa

The villa was absolutely perfect for us, one of the best we've stayed in. It provided everthing we needed and was very well maintained. The location is ideal, set in the countryside with the mountains behind, yet within easy reach of La Caletta for evening meals - we enjoyed the L'Ostrica restaurant the most, but there are many other good ones to choose from.

Many thanks to Efisio and Caterina for making us feel so welcome, and the strawberries from the garden were a nice surprise.

I would certainly recommend this villa, and we'll be looking to book it again.

your "villa Oviri" still is a dream to make holidays. In the two times we've been there we had had one of our best holidays ever! The pictures you've made to present it here in the net are not god enough - in real it is much more fantastic! We hope, that we will make much more holidays in this beatiful place! We spent a wonderful, restful week in this villa;
It is situated down a dusty, bumpy track in a rural area. The villa is well equipt - inside and out, which made the stay even more comfortable.
It is an excellant base for anyone wanting to visit beaches, small towns or just while away time enjoying the peace. The only sound you hear are the bells from the cattle roaming around the hills behind the villa - and the crickets in the evening.
There are plenty of restaurants near by to enjoy the wonderful Sardinian food and wine.
A property that we can highly recommend.
