This two storey character villa was extensively renovated in 2005 whilst retaining its character looks & it is located 200m from one of the largest stretches of white sandy beach in North of Sardinia. The villa is set in its own 1000sq m grounds and is situated in an unspoilt private residential area, set in a pine forest with just 2 minutes walk to the beach & the lake. The villa has 4 luxury contemporary double bedrooms, two of which are en-suits and sleeps 8. Three of the bedrooms have French doors opening to the garden and there is a family bathroom with bath & shower. The first floor has a modern kitchen with all the modern appliances including a large American style fridge freezer with ice and water dispenser. The kitchen leads to a lovely terrace overlooking the forest which also leads to a large roof terrace via steps. The views from the roof terrace are truly breathtaking with views of the forest, surrounding countryside and the beach. Available for the first time in June 06.

Valledoria is situated on the north west coast of the Sardinia. The villa is only 15 minutes walk to the quiet town of Valledoria where you find shops, supermarket, pizzerias, bars and family restaurants. The villa can be reached from Alghero airport in about 60 minutes drive, from Olbia airport in about 90 minutes and from Porto Torres ferry port in less than 40 minutes. Sassari which is the 2nd largest town in Sardinia with lots of shops and restaurants, is only 45 minutes away. The historic town of CASTELSARDO with its famous castle, and handycraft shops is only 15 mins drive away. The Water Park can be reached by car in about 30 min and the natural spa is less than 15 min away. Valledoria is 90 min away from Palau where you can take a ferry crossing to the beautiful islands of La Maddalena. Furthermore, the crossing to Porto Vecchio in Corsica between June and September take about two and half hours (remember your passport if you are going to Corsica!).

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are based on maximum of 8 people sharing 4 bedrooms and are inclusive of electricity, water, bed linen, towels and minimal daily cleaning. The rental rates do not include the final cleaning of the villa. At the time of the booking, you will be asked for make a £500 refundable deposit which is refunded within 1 week of departure following satisfactory checking of the villa. Please note that smoking is not allowed in the villa. Booking deposit is 25%, final payment should be made within 5 weeks of departure. The final clean is £50 per week of stay.
  • Beach towels are not provided in the villa. The week of stay is flexible. Check in time is between 15.00 and 20.00 pm. Check out time is strictly by 10am. Special discounts are offered for parties of 2 to 4 people during January to May and from November to December. Please see the discount information below or contact the owners for more details.
  • Transport from airport can be arranged through a local company.

  • The villa has 4 luxury contemporary double bedrooms on the ground floor with comfortable good quality mattresses and sleeps 8. The ground floor is comprised of entrance hall, 4 double bedrooms, two of which are ensuits with stunning bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have French doors opening to the garden and there is a family bathroom with bath and shower. One of the bedrooms has a double loft bed with a separate double sofa bed. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have a heating system. All bedrooms have large wardrobes with ample space.

Notes: The forest of San Pietro a Mare, where the villa is situated, is environmentally protected and it is naturally beautiful. The beach, which is 2min walk from the villa, is one of the largest white sandy beaches in the north of the island. The beach is ideal for families and sun lounges and paddling boats can be hired on the beach in high season. A fresh water lake is next to the beach where canoes can be hired in high season. There is live entertainment every night during the month of July and August on the beach front bars which are minutes walk from the villa. There are three family restaurants minutes walk from the villa and the town of Valledoria which is 15min walk away has more restaurants serving typical Sardinian food. There is a post office, bank with cash point, supermarket, car hire, bike hire, and fish monger, and souvenir shops. The opening times vary during the season and a number of restaurants are only open during the main holiday season from June to September.

Special Discounts : Special discount of 30% apply to a party of 2 people or 20% discount for a party of up to 4 people during the months of January 2007 to May 2007 and from November 2007 to December 2007. For example a couple staying during April 2007 for 3 nights will pay £90 per night (normal price is £130 per night ie a discount of 30%) and a party of 4 people will pay £104 per night (i.e. a discount of 20%). The same discounts apply to stays of one week or longer.

Maggie and Ian from London: Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your villa. We enjoyed the many different spaces, the contemporary and comfortable rooms, sunrise form the terrace and the ambiance of the forest.
The housekeeper (Liberty) was very helpful. Thank you Liberty.
Sheila and Peter, Martin and Chris : We loved the stylish decor of the villa. Maddalena islands were superb – great for snorkeling and nice feel. Alghero was charming. La Pineta was both friendly and with excellent service.
