This air conditioned detached villa is situated on the dramatic pink granite coastline of Costa Paradiso, Sardinia, and offers stunning views of the sea which are breathtaking at sunset. The villa's accommodation offers master bedroom with ensuite. Two further twin bedrooms and additional bathroom. The kitchen is of modern Italian design with granite work tops, integral oven and gas hob, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There are three sets of double doors from the kitchen/living area which make the area very bright and inviting and give wonderful views of the bay. These doors give direct access to a shaded patio area which then leads directly onto the deck which is surrounded by fragrant local planting. An ideal place to sit, eat and relax, especially to watch the sun go down with an excellent glass of the local chilled Rose! Stairs lead to an infinity pool with separate pool patio and 6 sun loungers. The property's aspect means that the sun is on the pool from morning until sunset.

The villa is located centrally on the northern coast of Sardinia at Costa Paradiso. Its location makes it ideally placed for both airports, Alghero (Ryan Air) and Oblia (Easy Jet). The journey time from the airports is approximately 90 minutes. Whilst slightly nearer to Oblia the journey time is the same from Algero due to the straighter faster roads. The house is located a few minutes walk from a small shopping area which includes a supermarket, pharmacy, bar, gift shop and an agency. Costa Paradiso a stunning stretch of coastline, the scenery here is spectacular and very unusual. Costa Paradiso is a privatised community that takes care of its own roads and facilities, consequently it is very clean and well maintained. The beaches in the north of Sardinia vary from little secret coves to long stretches of amazing white beaches. The water is crystal clear and ideal for snorkeling.

Additional information about rental rates

  • To secure a reservation 30% of the total rent amount is required upon booking.This amount is non-refundable in the event of subsequent cancellation.The full balance is due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday and in addition a damage deposit of £200 will be required, refundable upon return. Rates include all linen and towels for use in the villa and one beach towel per person.Two and three week rentals will receive 1 hour cleaning, plus change of bed linen on the mid-stay Saturday. Renters are requested to make sure rubbish is disposed of, the fridge emptied and cleaned, dishwasher left empty and the barbecue cleaned.The cost of any further cleaning required on departure will be deducted from the deposit. Payments can be made in either Sterling or Euros.
  • Swimming Pool 2010 - Please note that the pool is opened at the begining of May and shut at the end of September.

Costa Paradiso Facilities: Costa Paradiso is a privatized community that takes care of its own roads and facilities, consequently it is very clean and well maintained. On entering the village through a barriered gatehouse you will proceed to the village centre. Here you will find a choice of supermarkets and gift shops. There is also an excellent fish mongers, butchers and fresh produce shop. It is at the centre that you will also find the Tabac to exchange gas bottles. There is an onsite medical centre available to residents (May to September). Costa Paradiso also has its own secret beach which can be accessed by a 10 minute walk along the headland from the carpark. This delightful cove is well worth the visit. There is a tennis club on site which residents are able to join during their holiday. There are various courts here and swimming pools and also evening entertainment Costa Paradiso has its own dive school which is bookable locally. You can also take boat trips from here.

As Costa Paradiso is primarily a holiday village the shops are open seasonally (June- September) however May is especially beautiful in Sardinia for the array of wild flowers and ideal climate for walking holidays. The snack bars are open all year around and Linos does especially good paninis! Nearby Valleddoria (25 mins by car) provides a large supermarket for out of season visitors. There is also a good supermarket at Badesi on the main road towards Alghero (approx 20 mins).

Creature Comforts: The house also has the following available for use: Washing Machine, Ironing Board and iron, Hoover, Toaster, Cold box with ice blocks.

We spent 2 weeks in this villa and it is an outstanding place to take a vacation. The villa was gorgeous, the views were breathtaking and the island was spectacular. The owner was attentive to our needs and the house has all of the amenities one could want on a vacation. Again, the place is a beautiful piece of paradise, it stands for its name "Costa Paradiso," I would not hesitate at all in recommending the villa to anyone else and indeed have been telling anyone who will listen what a great place it was. I look forward to returning at some point in the near future.

I will make this brief as It doesnt require many words to sum up the family holiday I have just had at this villa.

Perfect

A stunning location, pictures cant do it justice, ideal villa, brilliant pool, super location (have I said this) and we definately want to come back to not only the same place but would definately stay at this villa again. It had something for absolutely everyones taste.

A fantastic property, spacious, well designed and well equiped and very clean and modern. Doors and shutters allow the house to be kept cool even in the hottest conditions. The pool is fantastic and is even bigger than it appears in the photo. Super market and bar and restaurant around a swimming pool only 10 minutes walk away and 2 minutes by car. Excellent restaurant/pizzeria (il geranio)only 10 minutes drive away -opens at 7pm and the terrace is great to watch the sunset but very hot before 8pm! The owners are very professional, very helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend the property, very good value for money.

Paradise at Costa Paradiso

We arrived at the in the dark due to late arrival in Olbia (around an hour and a half) but we managed to find a supermarket open until 9pm for the essential wine and nibbles. Instructions from Nikki were perfect for finding the Villa and key collection. We found the Villa clean, very well equiped and the bedrooms very comfortable.
When we woke the next day nothing could have prepared us for the view from the terrace and the lovely pool (Jaw dropping), the most stunning location i have ever had the pleasure to holiday!
We had temperatures between 25 and 34 degrees in early June so the pool was a lovely and a cool (but not cold)relief at the end of a busy day out!
The community is well serviced with supermarkets, shops bars and restaurants but a car is pretty essential as the community is delightfully spacious and although Sardinia is a fairly small Island it does take quite a while to get about as the road are quite rustic.
Highlights of our trip;
1. The Villa and the sea view (Stunning)
2. Buying wine at the vineyard by the gallon and cheese from the cheesemaker locally.
3. Sassari town (great shopping)
4. The beaches (amazing!)
5. Day trip to Corsica (French island 50 minutes on ferry from Santa Theresa)
6. Generally better Pasta and Pizza Restaurants than I've had on mainland Italy!
7. Sitting on the terrace watching the sunset.

Lowlights
1. Be carefull were you park, parking tickets are expensive and difficult to pay at a post office (87 euros!)
2. Costa Smeralda - Lovely scenery, lots of beautiful people but very very expensive ( the town is very much geared to millionaires with big boats!!)

All in all I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a peacefull, stress free luxurious holiday, Thank you Nikki we will definatly be coming back.

What a view!

This property has a truly stunning location! Magnificent views along the coast and out to sea. Some amazing rock formations just add to the experience. Whilst it certainly qualifies as "away from it all" there are services in the nearby area to supply most of what you need. Don't underestimate driving times in Sardina though. It took us about two hours from "nearby" Olbia airport, and we stopped outside Olbia to stock up on supplies. Huge supermarket beside the road outside town was ideal.
The rooms are modestly furnished with the main bedroom being a touch short of storage space, Plenty of towels, etc provided, and the property was very clean and tidy. Sadly, two days of heavy rain cooled the pool down and we only made limited use of it, but it was beautfully clean, and would have been great for cooling off on hot days. Families should note that there is no shallow end though, it being about five feet deep throughout. Steps into it make easy access. Uniquely we were visited overnight by wild boar! Sadly we didn't catch sight of them, only their trotter marks. The help and advice from the owners was first class, with rapid replies to any queries. A very well-equipped property overall - we found everything we needed. With air conditioning that heats OR cools, this hepled us cope with the variable weather we had. Thoroughly recommended.
