Family friendly self catering available for summer holiday rental or long term rental. recently renovated and modernised to produce a villa with an open plan living area accessing generous outdoor space for al fresco living. All 6 air conditioned bedrooms have use of own shower room. You can make a holiday as relaxed or as busy as you want. Lots of water based sports available locally, or splash about in private pool, hot spa treatments available to relax & reduce stress levels, stroll or jog through the forest on sandy tracks, BBQ delicious local produce while sipping well price wines, or eat out in many of the local family friendly restaurants. A villa planned to give you a never to be forgotten happy self catering experience. .two water parks,cycling,sailing,kyaking,nature boat on local river,wind surfing,fishing,local tennis court and soccer pitch all close by.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A welcome pack of food and beverages sufficient for a light supper and breakfast is supplied on arrival. Price includes electricity, water, gas, bed linen, towels and final cleaning. A cleaner comes several times each week to sweep outside areas and check everything is ok. A local neighbour who speaks fluent English is available to give information on locality.All beds will be made up and ready when you arrive and a complete change of linen and towels is made half way during a two week stay.guests are asked to keep the pool free of sand and dirt.
  • A deposit of 25% is required at time of booking, the balance to be paid six weeks before travel. A damage deposit of €500.00 is to be included with final payment and will be returned less any repairs or replacements necessary after use of the villa.

Notes: The kitchen dining & living areas are open plan. There is direct access from this area to outside dining area . Large purpose built BBQ is located at the rear of the house & has sink facilities close by. A raised breeze way is close to the dining area for comfortable lounging during the hottest hours of the day. Hammocks are dotted through the garden tied to the many pine trees growing close to the villa. Sun loungers are near the private pool & on the terrace on the first floor. The beautiful beach is 200m away & an excellent supermarket is close by in Valledoria. There is a network of roads through the forest & it is a delight to walk through. A wide range of restaurants in the locality some within walking distance. Because of local planning laws to protect the forest environment the pool is a surface mounted pool with wood decking surround. Water heating is provided by solar panels.A washing machine is provided and all laundry can be line dried.

Ideal family beach house.

This was a great relaxing holiday. The house seems much closer to the beach than is suggested in the description.
Everyone could come and go to the beach as they pleased which is important for a group of 15.I swam in the sea every morning before breakfast! The weather was perhaps the best we have experienced in comparisons with previous visits to Spain, Portugal, Greece, France etc.
With six bedrooms and 16 beds make sure that the mix is right as obviously there will have to be some sharing.
Food in the area is wonderful & I recommend the nearest restaurant Pinetta, a few minutes away.
The location is such that there is access to a fresh water lagoon adjacent to the sea which proved a boon to the younger children. The open air pool has a thatched roof which helps to keep off the pine needles. However, it means that the pool can seem a little cool at times!

I would highly recommend this property & I hope to return soon.

Owner's Response: Dear James,Thank you for your review for Villa Maria.It is lovely to get feedback especially when it is positive.It is difficult to know what people want in a holiday home and I sometime worry that what we offer is not what was expected.The roof over the pool is new this year and i am interested to hear that the water is cold.I think we can divert hot water from the house system to warm up the water.Next years big project.! I hope you are feeling refreshed and full of energy after your visit to Sardinia.
