Area Description: One can easily walk to town for all needs, Restaurants, Pizzerias, Play Ground, Ice Skating Rink, Tourist Information, Coffee bar, Fruit & Veg, Butcher, Mini Market, Pharmacy, Bank Machine, Ski & Hiking Rentals, Clothes, Housewares etc.. The chalet is located in the village of Borca di Cadore which is 99 kilometres north of Venice. It takes approximately one hour and a half to drive from Venice Marco Polo airport. Other airports are, Verona, Treviso, Bergamo, and Brescia as well as Innsbruck in Austria. Hiring a car is highly suggested for easy access to the ski trails. It takes 15 minutes to drive to Cortina d-Ampezzo although ski buses do operate to transport skiers to the slopes. There is a WIDE RANGE of SKIING OPTIONS to select from. Cortina has more than 10 ski areas which accommodate all level skiers with Ski Instruction & Guides available. Detailed information is found in the house offering all resources guests will need.

Dear Amy,
Just to let you know, we had a fabulous holiday and the chalet was perfect. Thank you for the groceries, they were much appreciated upon arrival. Skiing was fantastic and most importantly the girls loved it. I would like to reserve the chalet for a similar time next year. If anybody else approaches you could I please have 1st choice. Once again thank you and I hope we left everything in order for your next guests.

Pleasent stay in comfortable house

You have a pleasant and comfortable house in Borca di Cadore! We had a very good stay there, although the weather was not that best all the time. Still we had two days with sunny weather, on which we have been hiking to Refugio Venezia at Monte Pelmo (10 kilometers via Coll Santa Ana) and around The Tre Cime di Lavaredo (10 kilometers via Refugio Locatelli). As a reward for there efforts, the last (couldy) day, we went with the children to the new (!) Adventure Park at Passo Cibiana, where we climbed in the trees! Highly recommended.

The description on the website was not totaly accurate, because the house has no swimmingpool and there was no terrasse outsite for eating or sitting outside, unless just before the front-door of the appartement. The property was clean, well-maintained, well-furnished and comfortable. There was a little problem with the electricity; it was not possible to use more electric kitchen apparates at the same time. The customer service from the owner was perfect. I would recommend this property to a friend.
