Photos and Description of this Kenya Coast holiday villa 6 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps up to 15 people

The villas are located 7-8 minutes walk from the Indian Ocean with their own swimming pool in a nice tropical garden. The main villa is quite spacious, the other two are a little bit smaller. They all have Makuti (palm tree leaves) roofs and are built in traditional African style with all European luxury. Each villa has two separate bedrooms downstairs, a bathroom with a toilet and a kitchen. The dining areas are on the covered terraces. Upstairs each has a very big open space with sofas, in the main villa is also another double bed + single bed in Lamu. All beds are equipped with mosquitonets and the rooms are having fans. The kitchens have cookers, ovens and fridges. Sufficient kitchen utensils are available. The swimming pool is right in the middle of the garden, 12m long and 6m broad with a very agreeable temperature of around 30 degrees. For the guests´ comfort there are five employees: 2 housemaids, 2 gardeners who also take care about the swimming pool + 1 night security guard.

The main villa has got 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom with toilet downstairs. The upstairs is an open space with sofas and a coffee table. On the covered terrace you will find the dining area as well as some comfortable sofas.

The villas are located on the South Coast of Keany at Galu Beach. Galu Beach which is a little bit further south than the famous Diani Beach is very quiet and relaxed. It is probably the most beautiful beach in Kenya as it is not so strongly affected by the tides. Even at low tide you will be able to reach the water. Furthermore there are no big hotels with the exception of Neptune Paradise at this part of the beach. The villas are located among many houses built in the same style. The next restaurant is Tropical Garden former Boko-Boko about 5 minutes by foot. By car it takes about 10 minutes to reach the centre of Diani where you will find supermarkets, travel agents for booking safaris and many hotels, bars and restaurants. To Mombasa town it takes about 1 hour depending on the ferry which you have to take to get there. The nearest National Park is Shimba Hills where you can see elephants and other wildlife. It is also not far to Wasini Island for dolphin watching or to Wazaro Beach

  • Rates are understood per property and are on a self-catering basis with the services of a housemaid and swimming pool attendant/gardener included.
  • On enquiry special rates are given to long term stays or if all 3 villas are rented together.
  • 20% of the rental price is charged upon making the reservation and has to be paid within 14 days of the booking reservation. The remaining amount together with a security deposit of EUR 300 has to be paid 2 weeks before the beginning of the stay. The security deposit will be returned 2 weeks after the end of the stay in case no damages occurred.
