Sunny, bright, magnificent penthouse apartment with 9 meters X 4 meters terrace with fantastic views. Excellent for barbecuing, and watching all the fireworks during the FIESTA season in summer. This one bedroom penthouse is located in Msida. This locality makes it very easy to reach Valletta, Sliema, St Julians, etc. It has a large open plan living/kitchen. Is fully air conditioned and equipped. The lounge can be turned into a comfortable double bed, making the apartment sleeping up to four. Separate dining area, T.V with DVD, and computer with 24 hours free internet.

Msida is a small town with a beautiful yacht marina, and many other attractions. The location is very central and makes it easy to drive to Valletta, Sliema, St Julians, Paceville etc. For an extra Euros 230 a week, an air conditioned car is allocated to guests for easy roaming around the island, included are your airport transfers both ways, free parking inside the block, and a small food pack to find upon arrival.

We found the description of the flat & facilities to be accurate, very clean & well maintained & Richard was extremely helpful. The location may not suit anyone who likes to be in the centre of things but it was fine for us as we like it quiet. Most parts of the island can be reached by using the buses from the Hospital/University even the Gozo ferry terminal & the Airport (via Valletta for the latter & allow an hour ), but if you're on your first visit I'd recommend a car ,either book your own or the one with the appartment, as it's much quicker to get about. The road layout around the flat is so new that it may not be on any maps but just head for the Hospital/University & on your first few excursions make sure you return in daylight ! This was our 2nd visit to Malta & this time we used the buses which require a little patience but you don't have the hassle of parking.

Richard presents an excellent property in an above average residential area of Malta.

If you want:
1. A central 'jumping off point' with all the amenities you would expect in your own home.
2. A sun worship / vino at the end of day sun terrace
3. A helpful and responsive management team behind you
4. To be left alone to get on with your holiday.

If you don't want:

1. Pounding music until 4 a.m.
2. A scruffy area with annoying neighbours
3. Charly Chaplins Fluffy Duck Bar next door

For the traveller to Malta this we found to be an ideal spot, away from the hustle of the towns but near the motorway to get you on most main routes. The appartment was beautiful and the view even better. Richard (your host) was 100% and even arrange beer and wine on our arrival, for a holiday with a difference and during the Fiesta season a balcony with a view of amazing fireworks. we had our 10mth old son with us and there is plenty of room for him to move around inside and out. Foodies are going to love Malta and only €14 a taxi will take you to St Julians or Msida and there are bars & cafe's for all types, I would highly recommend the Rabbitt at most restaurants, beer and win very cheap and would recommend the local beer Cisk for a cool beer on a hot evening. The balcony has basically all day sun and save for kids as it is railed. nice big kitchen area in the appartment for those who want to do a bit of in house Jamie Oliver. I am sure you will enjoy the appartment as much as me and my family did, sad to leave. Dallas, Donna and Cian

First time in Malta, Phil and Diane

The apartment was excellent and was accurately described on the web site. It was disappointing that there were no local bars or restuarants to while away an evening but the firework displays viewed from the terrace were brilliant. We drove to most corners of the island and enjoyed the experience of travelling on the local buses.I gave up with the sat nav after about 30 mins and got around quite successfully with a map. We enjoyed the Malta Experience (a bit over priced) and the War Museum was excellent.
Overall we enjoyed our first time in Malta and will definitely return as there is so much more to see and do.
Richard was very welcoming on our arrival and although we didn't need to call on him it was comforting to know that he would be available. The airport transfers were efficient and very convenient, all in all thank you very much.

I would like to say first of all that Richard the owner of the appartment, was very helpful and freindly. Any enquiries we made were addressed straight away. The apartment was very nice, my wife and I were very comfortable. We had free internet, with a laptop provided which was great. Great views from the balcony especially at night. We also hired Richards car which was garaged under the units. It had a GPS which was very handy arround Malta.
You need a car to go anywere from Swater,as there is not much to do in the area.
