Go to website www.holidayrentalmaltagozo.com The Farm House is one of our 15 Farmhouses that we have. They are all with fantastic country views,you can see wind mills, sea and village views. This Farm House is around 400 years old but the pool had been modernized. The Farm House “Dar Il-Bebbux” (The House of the Snail) it’s not far from the main square of the church. It has 4 bedrooms, main bedroom with en suite bathroom, 3 double single bedrooms, 3 showers with toilets, sleeps up to 8 persons. There is sitting/dining, living area with cable TV. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven and larder room, which leads to the swimming pool. Nice deck and BBQ area with a private swimming pool and a garden. The pool is 9metres X 4.5metres the largest depth is 1.8 metres. There are front and back balconies and an open terrace which leads you to the roof, where in the evenings you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and views over the sea

Gozo, the unspoilt gem of the Mediterranean, has a wealth of history more than 3000 years, with Ggantija temples, the world's oldest free-standing structures a short walk from the house, crystal clear blue waters, welcoming Gozitan people and a quiet, relaxed, safe atmosphere. The village of Xaghra has all necessary amenities such as supermarkets, shops, banks, cafes, bars with some of the best restaurants in Gozo where diners can enjoy al fresco dining around the village piazza. Many country walks can be enjoyed which take you across the Island. Ramla Bay, a beautiful sandy beach is in the Xaghra area and is a short drive or walk away. In fact you are only 10 minutes drive from any beech. All water sports are available including boat hire. The Farm House is not far from the main square and the church.

Vernacular in character, the streets of Xaghra have the shape of fingers radiating from the village square. There are quite a few shops, bars and restaurants in the piazza and these, together with the presence of the dominant Basilica church provide an excellent ambience for dining al fresco, especially in the evening. Being only 10 minutes away from Our Farmhouses, it is very popular amongst tourists to take an evening walk to the piazza to dine and drink . Xaghra is home to the famous megalithic prehistoric Ggantija temples dating back from 3500 BC and home to two spectacular underground alabaster caves whilst in the cliffs nearby is the cave where Calypso, from Homer's Odyssey, is reputed to have lived. Xaghra is shaped by the two largest valleys; Marsalforn and Ramla valleys, which valleys form out the two picturesque bays of Marsalforn and Ramla, about 5minutes away by car.
