A modern farmhouse, bursting with character. Recently finished and equipped with air conditioning throughout, situated in the village of Xaghra with a private pool and deck area. Arch covered limestone steps lead to the entrance hallway which leads you through to the lounge/dining area and separate fully equipped kitchen which includes:- gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dish washer and microwave. The sitting room has an oil fired 'woodburner', satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi, video player, broadband and telephone leading through double arched doors to the private deck and swimming pool area with patio furniture, sun loungers and gas BBQ. The third double bedroom is situated on the ground floor next to the shower room. Limestone stairs lead to the first floor: second double bedroom, ensuite shower and balcony, landing/reading area with skylights, master bedroom, ensuite bathroom, . Utility room with automatic washing machine. Stairs to large private roof terrace with sea and country views.

Gozo, the unspoilt gem of the Mediterranean, has a wealth of history with Ggantija temples, the world's oldest free-standing structures a short walk from the house, crystal clear blue waters, welcoming Gozitan people and a quiet, relaxed, safe atmosphere. The village of Xaghra has all necessary amenities such as supermarkets, shops, banks, cafes, bars with some of the best restaurants in Gozo where diners can enjoy al fresco dining around the village piazza. Many country walks can be enjoyed which take you across the Island . Ramla, a beautiful sandy beach is in the Xaghra area and is a short drive or walk away. In fact you are only 10 minutes drive from any beech. All water sports are available including boat hire, snorkelling & diving, close to the village.

Notes: Furnished to high modern standards with air conditioning throughout. The sitting room having its own wood burner style fire which is oil fired. The pool area is south facing, so sun all day. All linen is provided including towels for the bath/shower rooms/toilets and also 6 beech towels. A weekly maid service is provided. The roof terrace is private for sunbathing with a bar fridge/freezer to keep the gin and tonic cool with Ice if preferred. Automatic washing machine.

We had a great holiday and will be going again this year.
Gozo is a dream island - wonderful weather, kind people, a safe sandy beach (Ramla).

The modern farmhouse was ideal. It is centrally located at Xaghra. The house is very modern with all the comfortable facilities. The air conditioned rooms were a blessing as it was in the 40F when were there. We found the owner, David, very helpful. He also helped us with getting a rental car.

We highly recommend it and we are looking forward to our stay ithere n a few weeks time.

Besonders hervorzuheben: Schönheit, "Übersichtlichkeit" und Ruhe der Insel Gozo, geräumiges Haus, sauber, gut funktionerende Klimaanlage, privates Schwimmbecken, große Dachterrasse mit herrlichem Blick über die Insel, sehr freundlicher Empfang und perfekte Betreuung! Herzlichen Dank an den Vermieter!

Me and my family stayed at this villa for a week and found it very enjoyable experience. The owner couldn't do enough for us and included a welcome pack with basics like bread, water, ham, cheeses and milk, and also a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. The village it is located in is really good, with all you need ie a few shops, restaurants, etc and people are really friendly. The church in the village is beautiful (just remember to cover up!) I think you can walk to a beach, but to be honest hiring a car is so cheap it's more fun to go exploring! Oh and there are some interesting ruins in the village.
Overall the villa was very clean and tidy with a nice sized pool, a bbq, and a fantastic roof terrace with great views!
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit malta and gozo
