This charming villa, designed by a leading local architect in true Mauritian style, sits directly on an idyllic private white sandy beach – among the widest of the island - fronting one of the most beautiful turquoise lagoons of Mauritius. It is located in an unspoilt and authentic area of the island, rich in history – yet close to local amenities – and is ideal for nature lovers and ecotourism. From the beach, you can admire the dramatic surrounding mountains and neighbouring small islands, including Aigrettes Island, a nature reserve for very rare birds and endemic plants. The villa is spread over two floors. The ground floor features a lounge dining room, which opens out to a terrace overlooking the beach, and a fully equipped kitchen. The first floor comprises two double air-conditioned bedrooms overlooking the beach/sea, one bathroom and a laundry/storage room which includes a washing machine. The villa obtained a Tourist Enterprise Licence from the Mauritius Tourism Authority.

We stayed at this villa for 14 nights in October 2009. Overall we would highly recommend this villa for both couples and families looking for a relaxing, peaceful and affordable holiday in Mauritius.

The villa is in an excellent location in Mauritius on one of the few private beaches left that aren't take up solely by large hotels. You have a private strip of beach which is very quiet, particularly on weekdays there is almost no one else there. If you are looking for a peaceful beach holiday the villa is perfect. There is also opportunity to do watersports at nearby resorts if you are more active.Mauritius is very easy to travel around, particularly with the new motorway, so you can either hire a car or hire a driver to take you around the island to do sightseeing.

The maid service is excellent - apart from cleaning and laundry you can also have your lunch prepared for you if you buy the ingredients and the quality of cooking is excellent. The supermarket and local market is nearby to by both local and imported food and wine. This saved us a lot of money!There are also very good, affordable restaurants in the area, including la belle kreole which offers a pick up and drop off service.

The owner of the villa is very welcoming and friendly and will meet you from the airport. The villa is very spacious and comfortable and very secure, with a safe and good security system.

We had a wonderful holiday and highly recommend this villa.

The villa is perfect for a relaxing holiday as it’s on the beach front. The owner was very helpful when we arrived. The Maid Denise comes in every day she cooks and cleans she is very friendly and give good advice. For the first three days we had a cyclone but that did not spoil our holiday. Mahebourg is very near by you can get a bus from outside the villa and do all your shopping the best day is on a Monday when the big market is open.

The villa is located on the beach front on the outskirts of Mahbourg. We contacted the owner prior to renting the villa and we recieved very friendly advice and informative emails. The villa was very clean, a cleaner and a maid came every day who were very friendly. This location is ideal for a family who like peace and quite and a relaxing holiday. As Maurituis is in the southern hemisphere it is prudent to go when the weather is at its best, we went in August the weather wasn't the best, it can be quite windy at this time of the year, however it didn't spoil our holiday that much. Overall we had a very nice relaxing time and I would recommend this villa.
