  • A 20% deposit of the total rental amount will secure your accommodation. The remainder is then due 8 weeks prior to your date of travel and may be subject to slight adjustments depending on your provision of exact dates.
  • Airport transfers can be arranged at a cost of approximately 1,500 MRU or 30 GBP each way (Per journey not per person). Our driver holds a card which displays your family name as you exit the arrivals building.
    Payment for airport transfers are settled with the villa caretaker on arrival and prior to departure.

A slice of the real Mauritius

The villa is very large and spacious. Mike and his team are excellent hosts. Transfers to and from the airport went smooth as silk. The villa is in Grand Gaube, a traditional Mauritian fishing village. The locals are unbelievably friendly. There are are small shops nearby. Grand Baie is the local resort town and has an excellent range of restaurants and bars for a night out. Taxis are cheap (and they will collect you at the end of your night out!). The villa has a caretaker on hand to help you out with anything and everything. What you are really paying for are the breathtaking views of the ocean and bay in Grand Gaube. There are excellent beaches nearby, that are pretty much empty and stretch for miles and miles. The kitchen is really well equipped if you fancy cooking whilst you are they, however we would say check out the local restaurants. Mauritian food is wonderful. The local restaurant "Le Debarcadere" is superb and about a minutes walk. Marc Williams the owner is an excellent chef and host. We ate at "Le Deb" almost every other night, it was that good. Security is good as there is always a caretaker in the cottage by the gate. This was one of the best holidays we have had and we can't wait to return!!!!
