The villa is part of a holiday complex within a very quiet and relaxing garden. All facilities are within walking distance - bank, supermarket, taxi stand, bus stop, and restaurants. Easy access to all other parts of the island (airport, capital city, and other main towns) via public or private transport. The villa has its own communal swimming pool, tennis court, and tropical garden. It includes all self-catering facilities and a maid service 7 days/week at the most competitive price. Situated on the west coast of Mauritius, Flic-en-Flac has the longest and most beautiful white sandy public beach on the island only 200 metres from the villa. The self-catering facilities will appeal to all those who enjoy the freedom to enjoy their holiday in their own lifestyle and at their own pace.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The tariff quoted may be negotiable for any length of stay. There may be an automatic discount for any holidaymaker staying for no less than 3 weeks. Long term renters may benefit from a very favourable rate.
    No deposit is required when making a reservation of the villa. The total bill is resolved within a few days of starting the holiday.during the holiday. Except for transfer from and to the airport, the above tariff includes all services and facilities. There are no hidden costs.
    Transfer from and to the airport may be arranged if requested. Payment is paid directly to the person meeting the holiday makers at the end of the journey.
    The management reserves the right to charge for any non-accidental damage done to the property and/or its contents.
  • Payment for the rental charge may be made in GBP, Euros, or US Dollars. Any other currency must be cleared with the management in advance.
    Cheques are no longer accepted due to the long delay in bank clearance. However, if holiday makers are ready and willing to settle their bill in advance, a crossed cheque may be sent by post at least 3 weeks prior to the starting date of the holiday period. Electronic transfers, in advance, still remain quite problematic due to strict regulations to prevent 'money laundering' or to prevent illicit payment being made to terrorist organisations.

  • The shower room includes a wash bowl and a power point for electric shaver. A washing machine is conveniently located within and all clothes will quickly dry out on the clothes line in the rear yard. The toilet is separate and there is a toilet with hand-washing facility on the ground floor too. The shower unit is solar powered with a gas boiler as a backup. This enables all holiday makers to enjoy a shower at any time of the day or night.

Notes: The accommodation is appropriate for families with children. Use of the swimming pool requires parental supervision for the very young. While it is suitable for older persons, all sleeping facilities can only be negotiated via staircase. The open plan on ground floor lends itself well to entertaining and can accommodate a fairly large group. So if you are celebrating a special occasion - anniversary, birthday, wedding or just an excuse for a party - you should be able to accommodate a fairly large group. Outside lighting on both rear and front patio spaces makes it attractive for an evening barbecue or for just relaxing. Smoking is prohibited in sleeping areas and discouraged in living area. There is plenty of space on the patio or small private garden to the front and rear of the property for smokers. While pets are not allowed, guide dogs for the blind or partially sighted are welcomed.

Safety/security: The property has a safe in which you can store passports, tickets and other documents. You are encouraged to make use of it. You are however, discouraged from storing large sum of money in the safe or anywhere within the property. If you have any doubt, consult the management.

Excursion: Other than holidaying in the Flic-en-Flac area, you may wish to take advantage of all the other natural beauty spots around Mauritius. The management will be available for consultation and discussion.

Wedding: For those who are planning a wedding, please, inform us at the earliest opportunity so that you are not disappointed. You may find that you have 2 ceremonies to arrange for to satisfy the legal and religious requirement. The civil marriage is usually held at the local registry office in the town hall. The religious aspect is held separately. There are some beautiful churches of all Christian denominations on the island. If you are a catholic, you will be spoilt for choice.

Rachael and I decided to rent this Villa for our 3 week stay in Maurititus. Although I have family that live in Mauritius it was nice to stay somewhere for just the two of us. Situated very close to the beach and all amenities, Spar, Bank, Restaurants, Convenient Stores. The Villa was exceptional, extremely tidy with a maid who came every other day for us. We used local transport to get around the Island. Ask for Saleem, a local taxi driver who took us all around the island for next to nothing. He is located at the beach near the mobile snack wagon. A great guide. His wife rents out the sun loungers. The cost of the holiday was very reasonable for us.
