This newly developed ground floor apartment is located in the quaint fishing village of Prcanj about 10 minutes drive from the historic and UNESCO World Heritage town of Kotor. With panoramic views over the Bay of Kotor and a majestic mountainous backdrop this spacious one bedroom apartment makes for ideal accommodation for you and your family's holiday. There are some good local bars, cafes and restaurants nearby along with small shops for all your basic needs. Outside the waterfront is only 20m from your apartment with the closest beach some 70m away, it has the shared use of its own pool, a sun terrace and comes with parking. Inside the apartment a large private entrance hall leads to the open plan kitchen/living area with double sofa bed, dining table and french doors opening out onto your private balcony. Off the hallway is a double bedroom and bathroom. Managed by a local English speaking property management company with an office in Kotor who are always there to help.

The nearby old town of Kotor with its narrow cobbled streets, ancient churches, cafe's, shops, bars and restaurants provides the perfect base for your holiday. Prcanj and other picturesque villages that line the bay with their small pebbled beaches are in contrast to the Adriatic coastline and towns of Budva and Stefan Sveti where sandy beaches and crystal clear waters show you how stunning this country really is. Nearby there are a host of interesting places to visit such as the historic town of Dubrovnik in Croatia, the mountains of Lovcen National Park, the splendour of Lake Skadar National Park, the old capital of Cetinje and new capital of Podgorica. Further a field there are more notable areas of natural beauty with the deep canyon of the Tara river providing white water rafting and outdoor activities, along with the rugged peaks and skiing areas of Durmitor National Park near Zabljak and the deep forests of Biogradska Gora National Park.

Freshly laundered bedding with quilts and pillows are provided (no linen provided for the cot).

Notes:

The modern kitchen is equipped with electric hob, oven, fridge freezer and kettle as well as crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils. The living area commands beautiful views of the bay and has large french doors out to the terrace. The room has two sofas (double sofa beds), coffee table, dining table with 4 chairs, TV, DVD, and Xbox. The apartment has a sizable entrance hall for storage for clothes, luggage and sports equipment. Heating and cooling is controlled by the air conditioning unit and portable heater and the property also has its own temporary/backup water supply which is very important during the summer months where many areas have shortages. There is a large shared swimming pool with sunbathing terrace overlooking the bay and mountains and the apartment has its own private terrace with patio furniture. There is also a maintenance man on site to deal with any property issues during your stay as well as our management company to assist you during your stay.

Getting to Montenegro

Most flights from the UK and Europe arrive into Dubrovnik which is only 50km away. BA and Croatia Airlines run regular services throughout the year with Thomson Fly, Skyeurope, Air Lingus and Flybe offering services during the warmer months. Other options are to fly into Tivat with JAT airline. Although this airport is a lot closer to the apartment (only 15km) there are few direct flights available with most services going via Belgrade. From the airport the best way to reach the apartment (and to travel around Montenegro) is to hire a car. It is fairly inexpensive and easy to organise (although if flying into Dubrovnik in Croatia make sure your hire car company allows you to drive into Montenegro).

Children/Baby Facilites

We have equipped the apartment with some facilities for families with young children and babies. A cot has been provided complete with mattress that can be set-up in either the bedroom, hall or living area (please note that linen is not provided). There is also a travel booster seat/high chair along with a children's bowl, cutlery and feeding mug.
