This 140sqm newly renovated self-catering holiday apartment is located within the Old Town and the heart of Kotor. The accommodation is ideally located just behind the main square, and the restaurants, shops, cafes, bars and marina are therefore all at hand. This holiday rental apartment is located on the 1st floor (American 2nd) of an old Venetian stone building with high ceilings and spacious rooms and overlooks Kotor’s narrow cobbled alleys, streets, and charming stone palaces, villas and squares. Stepping into this magnificent apartment is like diving into the past, as the building was formerly used as a first class hotel, frequented by many affluent and prominent individuals. The building is therefore listed within the top 100 for its historical importance, making this vacation rental one of the most exclusive holiday homes in Montenegro.

Kotor Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the best preserved and certainly the most beautiful medieval town in the region. This walled City is in the Boka Bay, sandwiched between the majestic Mount Lovcen and the sea, and as one of the main tourist destinations in Montenegro it has a wealth of facilities for the visitor. The town, a maize of cobbled streets and alleys contains churches, museums, venetian architecture and a cathedral which dates back to 1166. Kotor boasts year round interest and is known for hosting numerous festivals. A waterfront town, with its beautiful marina located just outside its fortress walls, from here you can watch the yachts and cruise ships sail in or even take a boat trip yourself. The bay of Kotor has the deepest fjords in the Mediterranean and is officially listed within the top 10 'Most Beautiful Bays in the World'. Within the Old Town are the steps to the Old Fort for some of the most stunning views of the bay, a vacation you will never forget.

Centrally located apartment with the marina just outside the walls of the Town. There is a lively daily market, selling organic produce which in the evenings are replaced by stalls selling jewellery and trinkets. Tivat airport is 15km, Perast is 10km away. Aman Resorts Island Hotel of Sveti Stefan is 35km. Budva and it's Old Town is 30km. Skarda Lake is 70km. Dubrovnik Old Town (Croatia) is 85 km, Cetinje the Old Royal Capital is 50km. Skiing is available 2.5 hours inland in Kolasin and Zabljak (Durmitor).
Airlines
Tivat airport (Montenegro) is 15km away, approximately 15 minute drive and has direct flights from London Gatwick with Montenegro Airlines on Sundays and Wednesdays Dubrovnik airport (Croatia) is 80km away, approximately 1 hour 30min drive and is served by thomsonfly, a low cost airline from Luton plus flights from Gatwick. British airways, aerlingus from Ireland, croatia airlines from Gatwick, flybe from Birmingham, London and Exeter, flyglobespan from Edinburgh and western air all fly into Dubrovnik. Podgorica Airport in Montenegro is 75km away and also receives international flights including flights from London Heathrow via Belgrade with JatLondon. Transfers can be arranged to or from the airports if required
Notes on Accommodation
Central heating radiators are provided as well as air-conditioning units, so the apartment is comfortably cool in summer and warm in winter. Apartment and town are safe for children as there is no car access within the town and the apartment is all on one level. The terrace has outside louvre doors which can be shut if child access is a concern. There is a cot and a high chair provided for young children.

We stayed with friends in this apartment for 2 weeks last summer and we had the most wonderful holiday. The apartment is in a great location being right in the heart of everything wilth the marina and wonderful restaurants and cafes all at hand. As for the apartment we couldn't believe our eyes when we stepped in! It was so amazing and spacious, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you once again!
