Marrakech is possibly the more famous of the two towns, being regularly cited as the entertainment capital of Morocco. The climate of the region is amazingly steady. Average monthly temperatures range from 16°C in January to 24°C in August, with very little rain at any time of year. Rainfall is most common in December, and almost unheard of between May and October.
