No traffic to see or hear, nearest neighbor a kilometre away, 360 degree views of mountains and open spaces, Skyview Magic is extremely unique. The rustic, comfortable lodge will keep you intrigued with its funky and intricate architecture, the spacious functional kitchen has everything at your fingertips, the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds, the views from the 3 kilometres of walking tracks are simply stunning, kids (& adults) love the climbing wall, and the pool temperatures range from 26-34 degrees C from September-April. There's a large brick patio on the Eastern side with an outside table and chairs for the morning sun & the covered veranda on the northern side has a couple of comfy swing chairs, double bed, & lounge chairs for the mid and later day sun. Gardens, orchards, birds, young forests, sunsets, & sunrises abound and Queenstown, Wanaka, & Arrowtown are only short drives away. Magic indeed and all to yourselves!!

Set on 168 acres amidst towering mountains, Skyview Magic is a silent retreat for one group at a time. The Queenstown area provides unlimited possibilities for adventure, fishing, airsports, golf, wines, shopping, mt biking, snowsports, boating, riversports, over 100 bars and restaurants, mountaineering, backpacking...or you can hang out here and listen to the birdsong, swim in the pool, walk on the 3 km of mown tracks, play on the climbing wall, or fall asleep on the sunny veranda. The rooms are large and bright, furniture very comfy, decor rustic, and everything is provided except your food and drink. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter, this is a fantastic base for family get-togethers, couple's getaways, corporate team building, or friends' ski holidays. Less than an hour to the major ski resorts and only 20 minutes to town and NZ's third largest lake, it's always very private and peaceful when you return to the magic of Skyview.
