This Scandinavian-style cabin, with large windows and an open lay-out, is located in a small resort in the countryside just north of Risor in Southern Norway. The cabin contains extraordinary facilities: its own indoor swimming-pool, whirlpool and sauna, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a raised sleeping area for children. Jegertunet Hotel, where you pick up the key, order you linen or enjoy an evening meal, is just 2 minutes walk up the hill. It is a small countryside hotel with ten rooms, - busy in summer, and mostly catering to company groups at other times of the year. The hotel has tennis courts and an outdoor swimming-pool, a clay pigeon shooting range close by, canoes and bicycles for rent. The sea shore is also within walking distance and an old-fashioned ferry will take you to the islands and the beaches or to the small town of Risør during summertime. Risør a lovely coastal town well-known for its architecture, its festivals and art life.

Notes to the rental rates

• The cost of electricity is not included, as it varies a lot, mostly depending on the use of facilities, but also on the time of year. It can range between NOK 500 and NOK 1.500 per week. Bear in mind that in Norway, electricity is used for lighting, heating and cooking. There is always some firewood in the cabin for use in the Scandinavian fireplace (no charge for this). The cleaning after you stay (NOK 1375) is included.
  
• Deposit 25% of rent to be paid for confirmed booking. 100% to be paid one month prior to moving in.

The resort offers numerous activities - tennis, rental of canoes and bicycles, clay pigeon shooting, hiking, fishing. Jegertunet Hotel (2 min. walk) has a very good restaurant. It's open every day in summer, upon reservation the rest of the year. Risor, one of Southern Norway's most beautiful towns, is only 20 minutes by ferry. The ferry leaves for Risør every hour during the peak of the summer (passing idyllic islands where you can get off on a beach), and twice daily the rest of the year.

Golf Information:

The Arendal & Omegn Golfklubb at Nes Verk is rated as one of Norway's top courses. The club is located 30 minutes drive to the south. There is an 18 hole (par 72) and a (short) 9 hole course, driving range and putting green. There are nice trails around the area for non-golfers, as well as an iron works museum on site.
