This fantastic 3/4 bed fully air-conditioned apartment is on two floors, separated by a spiral staircase leading from the lounge. It is huge, (217 Sq M) and has been stylishly decorated by the owners. On the ground floor there is the large open-plan lounge/dining area, a fully tiled modern shower room with WC etc, a well equipped kitchen with every amenity including washing machine and dish-washer, and a twin bedroom in terracotta theme with fitted mirrored wardrobes. On the first floor there is a lounging/seating area at the top of the spiral staircase. There are also two double bedrooms, one with double, the other with king sized bed, both of which share a large private sun-terrace via patio doors. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. There is also a single bedroom, (ideal for children), with stand-alone wardrobe. A fully fitted/tiled bath/shower room is also on this floor. The communal swimming pool is 25 metres away, and our guests have their own private sunbeds.

This beautifully appointed apartment, Casa Bentley, is located only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Carvoeiro, and Carvoeiro Beach. Everything, bars, restaurants, shops, banks, pharmacies, are at your fingertips whilst, due to the privacy of the apartments, you can still have a good night's sleep. You do not require a hire car or taxis for your local evenings/days out. Within 20 minutes walk there are also three other beaches (Praias Paraiso, Vale Covo and Centeanes). Other attractions such as Zoomarine, Aqualand, Slide and Splash, and three 18 hole championship golf courses, are within 20 mins drive. There are many other attractions, too numerous to mention. Faro Airport is 45 mins drive from Carvoeiro and we can also arrange airport transfers if guests are not hiring a car.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 25% non returnable deposit is required to seal the booking. The balance plus returnable £100 Breakages and damages deposit is required 2 calendar months prior to arrival.
    Air conditioning is charged at £30 per week if required. Winter heating £30 per week.
    Charges are based on up to 6 people occupying. Seventh person (only 6 permitted between 1 Jul - 31 Aug period) charged at an additional 8% of base price. Cot available at no extra charge (baby counted as one person). Changeovers on Thursdays, other days may be possible on request.
    Long term lets available at special low rates outside high/peak season.
  • On changeover days check-out time is 1000. Check in at 1400 (To allow for full cleaning/linen/ towel change).
    Towels changed twice weekly (after 3 or 4 days), linen changed weekly, cleaning weekly all included in price.

Notes: We have recently placed a 37' LCD Samsung TV in the lounge for guests' entertainment. A DVD and SKY Free to Air channels are also connected. There is a no smoking policy inside the apartment but it is permitted on the upper and lower sun terraces. All linen and bath towels supplied, but not beach/pool towels. Linen changed once weekly, towels twice weekly (i.e. once every 3 or 4 days). Maid service supplied once weekly at no charge. Starter/welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, bread, butter, milk, and 2 bottles of complimentary wine will be waiting for you free of charge, on arrival. Please note that for July and August bookings, we can only take a max of 6 persons for this apartment.

We spent 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year in this delightful town. The apartment was very clean, and comfortable and had every appliance you could ever need - including a nice large quality TV (a big bonus) with English freeview channels - it is also very secure. The air conditioning kept us nice and warm and we slept well in the comfy beds. Peter was extremely friendly, helpful and considerate - a nice man. The weather was a vast improvement over UK and the roads were quiet.
The apartment is in a superb location for convenience for the numerous cafes,shops and restaurants in Carvoeiro (about 5 minute stroll) and yet is quiet at night. The beach is picture postcard lovely and we thought that Carvoeiro was the nicest town in the region with masses of character and friendly people. We hired a car and toured around the area though in the summer you may not need one.
The walks along the clifftops in both directions are breathtaking and good excercise!
We would recommend this apartment highly.

This is a very nice apartment to stay in, I would highly recommend it. The owner arranged transport to and from the airport which was excellent, as the friendly driver took us straight there helped us in and made sure we were happy before he left. The apartment itself was clean and well maintained, everything described was there. The location is close to the village square with plenty of shops and restaurants. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool.

This property is extremely well appointed and decorated; we couldn't recommend it highly enough. VERY spacious, it comfortably accommodated 4 adults and 2 children with another bed and cot to spare.
Never needed the air conditioning due to the pleasant cool breeze we always seem to get on the coast of Portugal and that was in late August.
All amenities are very close by; with the central square of Carvoeiro only five minutes walk away. There are some excellent restaurants and bars with several sandy coves within easy reach.
We had cars but to be honest we really didn't need to bother, even the water park is only a short bus/taxi drive away. I think we used it twice in two weeks!!
We even had the pool to ourselves for the second week :-)
Give Peter a ring, you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed at whit holidays 2007 - apartment is superb, very roomy and clean - all facilities are excellent, resort is perfect if what you want is good beach, good food and relaxed living in a place3 retaining Portugese character. Chap who looked after apartment was friendly and helpful
