A well appointed private apartment in the centre of Carvoeiro - one of the prettiest traditional villages in the Algarve. Part of the Monte Dourado complex it has private Swimming Pools (adult and children's) with an extensive Sun Terrace, Tennis and Reception facilities (with computer and broadband). With many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance and a beautiful beach 2 minutes away (250m) this is ideal for family or couples holidays. The apartment is a spacious duplex on 2 floors with a large front terrace and a smaller rear terrace. On the 3rd floor (top) with easy lift access it has unobstructed views across the village to greenery. The apartment has maid service and telephone. If you are not hiring a car we can arrange airport transfers. A car is not necessary though as every facility is on hand including a health center. Carvoeiro has retained much of it’s original charm with a well sheltered beach that provides an excellent all year round holiday destination.

Originally a fishing village set into striking cliffs, Carvoeiro is one of the few resorts that has retained much of its charm. It still has a Portuguese heart and has an all year round appeal. There’s a good local market but you have to be up early! Some great wine stores and some up-market clothes stores too. We have enjoyed many family holidays over the years in this apartment - these have been perhaps the easiest ones we have experienced. Arrive, drop bags, lie on beach. Couldn’t be simpler. If you don’t want to walk 2 minutes to the beach you can sunbathe by the secluded pool (for the apartments only) and there is a great pool for young toddlers too. Great for a summer holiday, half term breaks or for couples. We have been at all times of the year and with around 300 days a year of sunshine it’s not hard to see why the Algarve weather is so popular. There are many activities for young and old. Water parks, the Zoo Marine, Museums and also great Golf courses within 15 minutes.

  • February 2009 offer, enquire for details
  • A deposit of 25% is necessary to confirm a booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival date -- if booking is being made less than 8 weeks prior to arival date, we will expect payment in full as soon as possible. A security deposit of £100.00 (approximately 150 euros) will be charged against breakages. In winter months (Nov - Mar) Electricity will be charged separately, and generally works out to about 20 Euros (£15) per week depending on individual usage.
  • Airport transfers arranged on request. Car hire information can be provided with recommendations. Extra bed £25 per week. Cot £15 per week. High chair £7 per week. Maid service twice a week is included. Bath/Hand towels are provided. Linen changed once a week. Beach towels are not provided.

    We try to work to a SATURDAY changeover day, during the summer months. If possible we will try to accommodate arrivals on other days.

The apartment is a non-smoking environment but you can smoke on the terraces, ash trays are provided.

It was made totally stress free, as everything was so well organised.

The apartment was very comfortable and great value for money.
